Mark 6:39, 8:6
"Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass." (Feeding of 5,000).
"He told the crowd to sit down on the ground." (Feeding of 4,000).
"MIRACLES OCCUR WHEN JESUS DIRECTS & WE RESPOND!
"Jesus directed them..." & "He told the crowd..."
When the Lord speaks, LISTEN & OBEY HIS DIRECTIONS!
"THIS USHERS IN GOD'S DIVINE PRESENCE & AUTHORITY!"
Without which there can be no supernatural outflow!
Next was His choice of positioning for the people.
"Jesus had them sit down..."
There is only one thing the Lord requires of us for a miracle & that is OBEDIENCE!
"IT TAKES FAITH TO RESPOND TO A GODLY REQUEST!"
Obedience is the demonstration of your faith!
Lastly, Jesus used a humbling method.
"Sit down in groups..." & "Sit down on the ground..."
What is intriguing is the fact that: Jesus did not offer any options!
He simply commanded them to follow instructions, be it in groups of 50's or groups of100's.
HE EVEN TOLD THEM TO SIT ON THE GROUND!
They weren't even given the option to find shade under some nice tree after such an exhausting day!
"IT TAKES HUMILITY TO REMAIN SEATED IN THE MIST OF NECESSITY!"
At the end though, THEY ALL ATE & WERE FILLED!!!
WHY, you may ask? Because:
"MIRACLES OCCUR WHEN JESUS DIRECTS & WE RESPOND!
God does not perform miracles in our life's to UUHH! & AAHH! us, but instead with the intention of "TAKING US TO ANOTHER LEVEL OF FAITH & CONFIDENCE IN HIS PROVISION!"
