Romans 6:1-3
"Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of His wonderful grace? OF COURSE NOT! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined Him in His death?"
"SINCE WE HAVE DIED TO SIN, HOW CAN WE CONTINUE TO LIVE IN IT!"
Do you truly understand what transpired on the Cross of Calvary?
It is perfectly fine if you don't!
Just ask God to give you revelation concerning the events of that horrid day!
GOD ALLOWED HIS SON TO DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH IN YOUR PLACE AT CALVARY!
THE GRACE OF GOD WAS SPREAD ARMS OPEN!
Some 2,000+ years later, His promise of a better life is still offered as a free gift!
You can reap the benefits of His labor!
"BUT IT IS A TRAGEDY FOR A PERSON TO PRETEND TO KNOW THE BENEFITS OF CHRIST & CONTINUE SUFFERING THE PENALTIES OF SIN!"
There is a huge difference between LIVING IN SIN & STRUGGLING WITH SIN!
To live in sin is to enjoy the presence of darkness in your life!
But to struggle with sin is to hate its presence in your new-found life through Christ because you no longer have any common ground with darkness due to the Light that Christ has shed in your heart!
"CHRIST' DEATH WAS SIN'S ATTONEMENT!"
"CHRIST' RESSURRECTION IS OUR ASSURRANCE!"
Not a license to keep doing wrong!
