Happy New Years!

1 Timothy 5:8
"But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."

In this next year;
"BE GRATEFUL FOR THE LESSONS OF THE PAST!"
"ATTENTIVE FOR THOSE TO COME!"
"WISE ENOUGH TO APPLY IT'S WISDOM IN FUTURE CIRCUMSTANCES!"

Above all;
"FOCUSSED ON NEVER REPEATING THE ERRORS OF THE PAST!"

If you have wronged someone, apologize!
If you have failed to reach your mark, strive harder!
If your THING is not God's THING, die to self!"

"MAKE THIS NEXT THE BEST YEAR!"
"CANCEL OUT EXCUSES!"
"OVERCOME FEARS!"
"MAKE NEW FRIENDS!"
"MAKE GOOD FRIENDS!"
"MAKE GODLY FRIENDS!"
"FRIENDS THAT WILL CONTINUOUSLY POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!"

"LIVE FOR JESUS!"
"WITH YOUR LIFE, NOT JUST YOU WORDS!"

"MAKE THIS NEXT YEAR THE BEST YEAR!"
"WE ONLY GET ONE LIFE TO LIVE!"
"LIVE IT FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!"

"JESUS, LAMB OF GOD!"
"YOU DESERVE ALL THE GLORY!"

Luke 9: 62

"Jesus replied, 'No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God." ~ (Luke 9: 62)

Truly!

Colossians 3:1-3
"Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory."

"LOOKING AHEAD REQUIRES AN UPWARD FOCUS!"

If you truly desire to please God,
then you must quit perceiving everything around you as the world does!
If you truly desire change,
then you must begin speaking more about God's promises than you do about your issues!
If you truly desire to draw closer to God,
then you must, at some point, let go of anything that hinders your relationship with Him!

"WE WILL NEVER FIND GOD IN A GOD-LESS WORLD!"
"IN ORDER TO FIND HIM, WE MUST SEARCH ELSEWHERE!"
"UP IN HEAVEN!"
"WHERE GOD'S THRONE IS!"

Therefore, focus your efforts where;
"CHRIST IS SEATED!"
"AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD!"
"STAY YOUR ATTENTION ON THINGS ABOVE!"
"WHERE THOSE WHO ACCEPT JESUS AS THEIR LORD & SAVIOR WILL ONE DAY SPEND ETERNITY!"

"EVERYTHING SHOULD PALE IN COMPARISON TO OUR ETERNAL COMMITMENT TO CHRIST JESUS & HIS KINGDOM!"

Isaiah 43: 18 PAST

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past." ~ (Isaiah 43: 18)

PAST - having existed in a time before the present: from, done, or used in an earlier time.

Let's Go Fishing!

Matthew 4:19
"And He(Jesus) said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Be a friend to those in need.
Failure to do so would be a misrepresentation of what being a Christian is!

Also, don't worry about recognizing those in need because God will make sure you know that you are the one He sent to help them!

But notice that I did not say that you would supply their need.
The Lord will do that!
He just needs a willing vessel through which He can work.

"ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE TEACHABLE!"
"ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE REACHABLE!"
"THEN & ONLY THEN WILL YOU BECOME USABLE!"

Today, will you let the Holy Spirit lead you into all truth?
Will you allow the Lord to MAKE YOU A FISHER OF MEN?

Philippians 3: 13

"Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forget what is behind and reach forward to what is ahead." ~ (Philippians 3: 13)

As 2014 gets ready to become 2015, praise be to God, who leaves the past in the past, forgiving and forgetting, just as we ought to. Amen

Oh what a happy and joyful day! He's washed our sins away. In victory, impartiality, or even in defeat - In Christ we stand: our joy complete! Amen.

Nehemiah 8: 10

"Then he said to them, "Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the Lord is your stronghold." ~ (Nehemiah 8: 10)

The joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10

                                              Praise be to God! Amen.

Garrison!

2 Samuel 8:6,14
"Then David put garrisons among the Arameans of Damascus, and the Arameans became servants to David, bringing tribute. And the Lord helped David wherever he went."
"He put garrisons in Edom. In all Edom he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became servants to David. And the Lord helped David wherever he went."

"GARRISON": The troops stationed in a fortress or town to defend it... A pillar, prefect, post set to guard something & to keep order.

As the Celebration of the Birth of our Savior this year is past & we begin to look forward into the days of tomorrow,
I would like to take a moment & share some comparisons about the life of King David & Saul that I believe might be useful for the New Year.

King Saul fought as hard as David & in many ways was as victorious as David in battle. If he wasn't as successful, it was because he never seemed to learn the importance of GARRISONING what he had conquered. He kept fighting the Philistines over & over, often on the same terrain.

What can we learn from this?
"FORWARD MOTION ONLY COMES WHEN WE DON'T HAVE TO RETURN TO THE SAME PLACE OVER & OVER AGAIN!"
"WHEN WE DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT THE SAME BATTLES REPEATEDLY!"
"WHEN WE SECURE OUR VICTORIES BY BUILDING GARRISONS TO PROTECT OUR CONQUERED TERRITORIES!"

Something to think about:
HAVE YOU BEEN STRUGGLING WITH THE SAME HABITS YEAR AFTER YEAR?

HAVE YOU GAINED THE VICTORY AT SOME POINT, BUT FIND THAT ENEMY CONTINUALLY ADVANCING IN YOUR LIFE?

DOES THIS ENEMY CONTINUALLY SET YOU BACK OR DISRUPT YOUR FORWARD MOTION?

"VICTORIES BRING THE CONQUERED INTO SUBJECTION!"
"THOSE VICTORIES EVENTUALLY BEGIN TO BRING TRIBUTE!"
(Your testimony of victory will eventually bring Glory to God!)
"FINALLY, YOUR FORWARD MOTION WILL SERVE AS AN EXAMPLE TO THOSE AROUND YOU!"

Therefore, build your garrisons, protect you territory & guard your victories in the year to come!
THEN, WATCH & SEE HOW FAR YOU GO!!!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Romans 12:6-8
"We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!

Lord, may my life be the gift I offer continually at the altar!
May I constantly declare my love for You through my actions!
May I be to You the fragrant aroma that fills You with joy!
Lord, I offer myself as Your Birthday Present this day & for eternity!

I would like to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS on behalf of my family!
I love you all sooooo much!
I can not express my gratitude with words!

ENJOY YOUR DAY!
But please remember that this day belongs to JESUS CHRIST, our Lord & Savior!
Make sure to take some time & wish Him a Happy Birthday!

God neither lingers BEHIND you nor moves AHEAD of you!
"HE IS ALWAYS PRESENT!"

Christmas!

Hebrews 13:8
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

The past lies behind us!
A bright future appears!
All because "JESUS WAS BORN!"

Our celebration of the season must remain clear.
Never allow the cares of this world to distract nor blur your vision of Christmas!

"WE CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF JESUS, THE SON OF GOD!"
"WHO SOON WOULD SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS!"

Guess what?
He completed His task when He spoke those blessed words:
"IT IS FINISHED!!!"

Therefore, today, we who believe celebrate His redemptive work on the cross.
But in this season of merriment, we remember where it all began.
In a humble manger.
Where no one was present to cheer His arrival.
Where only a few would experience the majestic entrance of our Godly King into a world that would ultimately reject Him!

"HIS LOVE FOR HUMANITY REMAINS JUST AS STRONG TODAY AS IT DID ON THAT DAY WHEN HE TOOK HIS FIRST BIRTH, AS WELL AS WHEN HE BREATHED HIS LAST!"

THANK YOU, JESUS, FOR THE SALVATION THAT YOU HAVE PROVIDED FOR ALL WHO CALL ON YOUR NAME!
(This is the true reason we celebrate Your Birth, or better known to the world as CHRISTMAS!)

"LET'S TELL PEOPLE WHY CHRISTMAS HOLDS SUCH SIGNIFICANCE!"
"DON'T EVER ALLOW ITS TRUE MEANING TO ESCAPE THEIR EARS!"

PRAY!

Psalm 24:7-8
"Lift up your heads, O gates,
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
That the King of glory may come in!
Who is the King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle."

No matter what you are going through today,
The Lord wants you to know that;
"HE IS FOR YOU!"
"NOTHING WILL OVERCOME YOU!" (Though it may seem that way!)
"YOU SERVE A MIGHTY GOD!"
"WHO IS JEALOUS FOR YOU!"

"HELP IS ON ITS WAY!"
"JUST BELIEVE & YOU WILL SEE THE HAND OF GOD!"

I sense that there is someone out there in need of these words at this very moment.
I want to urge the Christian community to take a moment & pray for this person.

"GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE!"
"DON'T GIVE UP!"

Vision!

Proverbs 29:18
"Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained,
But happy is he who keeps the law."

"PEOPLE WHO WALK AIMLESSLY THROUGH LIFE FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THEY WERE CREATED!"

"VISION CREATES PURPOSE!"
"PURPOSE ESTABLISHES DISCIPLINE!"
"DISCIPLINE ULTIMATELY RESULTS IN FULFILLMENT!"

Therefore, today, I want to challenge you to:
"GET ENVISIONED BY DIVING INTO GOD'S WORD!"
"FAITH COMES BY HEARING & HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD!"

"GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE!"
But the question is;
"HAVE YOU FIGURED IT OUT YET?"

The good news is YOU CAN!!!
All you have to do is:
"REPENT OF YOUR SINS!"
"ASK FORGIVENESS!"
"INVITE JESUS INTO YOUR HEART AS LORD & SAVIOR!"
"THEN, SEEK GOD'S WILL FOR YOUR LIFE THROUGH HIS WORD!"
"FINALLY, ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BE YOUR GUIDING LIGHT!"

TONIGHT!!!

Jude 1: 17-19

"But you, dear friends, remember what was predicted by the apostles of our Lord Jesus; They said to you, "In the end times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desire." These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit." ~ (Jude 1: 17-19)

Spending Quality Time with Jesus!

John 10:10
"The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."

"Don't let 'ROUTINE' be the 'REASON' you run to JESUS!"
"INSTEAD, RUN TO HIM BECAUSE HE IS WORTH CHASING AFTER!"

FOLLOWING JESUS sometimes requires KEEPING UP with Him!

But just a word of advice;
DO IT for the RIGHT REASONS or you will eventually LOSE your PASSION!

Therefore;
"DON'T LET YOUR PERSONAL TIME WITH JESUS BECOME LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE YOU DO THROUGHOUT THE DAY!"
"LET IT ALWAYS BE SPECIAL & MEANINGFUL!"
"THAT IS WHEN JESUS TRULY BEGINS TO LEAD & YOU BEGIN TO FOLLOW!"

You are in His Hands!

John 10:29
"My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand."

Sometimes we have to make tough decisions,
Not knowing what the outcome may be,
But trusting that the Lord is in control.
Then after a while, as time has gone by,
We realize that it was the right choice.
That God was the One stirring us & that All will be well.

"THANK GOD FOR HIS HOLY SPIRIT WHICH GIVES US THE COURAGE TO FOLLOW & OBEY!"

"LORD, MAY WE ALWAYS BE RECEPTIVE!"
"MAY WE ALWAYS BE RESPONSIVE!"

You see, this walk of Faith is not about what we do for God,
But rather, how we respond to God when He beckons us.

I pray that we would always be aware is His Presence & alert to His Guidance!
I pray that we would be sensitive enough to hear His Voice,
While tough enough to make the choices that others won't!

"TO LIVE FOR CHRIST REQUIRES A BOLDNESS THAT NOT EVEN DEATH WILL DARE STAND AGAINST!"
"YOUR LIFE IS IN THE HANDS OF THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE!"

Today, I want to challenge you to:
"DARE TO LIVE AS IF YOU BELIEVE IT!"

Dark cloud
(Flickr/Marcus Ward)

In a prophetic dream I was shown a tiny cloud on the horizon. The Lord Jesus stated in an urgent tone, "Warn My people to avoid this dangerous, raging cloud!"
I was totally shocked at the alarm in His voice. I questioned, "Lord, how can this be such a dangerous cloud when it is so small and appears harmless?" He answered, "This cloud has the potential to devastate and steal every spiritual blessing from My people."
I inquired, "Lord, what is this cloud?" He quickly replied, "The cloud of doubt!" What had appeared so insignificant now became of utmost importance. When I asked the Lord how we can avoid and defeat this cloud of doubt, He offered the insights which follow.
This cloud of doubt is most effective when allowed to penetrate our mind. If allowed, it will erode and erase all the promises of God in our lives (see Is. 26:3-4). A vivid example of this is Israel's response to what they saw with their natural eyes in the Promised Land. The people allowed their natural vision to overrule what God had spoken.
So they brought the Israelites an evil report of the land which they had scouted out, saying, "The land through which we went to spy it out is a land that devours its inhabitants. And all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature.
"And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come from the giants, and in our eyes we were like grasshoppers, and so we were in their eyes" (Num. 13:33).
What the Israelite spies saw with their natural eyes quickly erased what God had promised—what they were asked to see through the eyes of faith. God had told them, "Take the land! It is yours!" Doubt entered in, however, and they returned, defeated by their own choices and actions of unbelief. As the Israelites perceived themselves, so did the inhabitants of the land perceive them.
Remember, as a person thinks within his heart, so is he. The Israelites perceived themselves weak—and thus their foe saw them as weak also. Doubt arose. Whenever doubt and unbelief cloud our vision, we can lose our inheritance. Doubt kept the people of God from obtaining their inheritance and promise for more than 40 years!
God Himself had declared and decreed that the land was theirs. Not only was the land their possession, but it was a land flowing with milk and honey. The land had great provision in store for them. When they saw the giants, however, every word of God's precious promises fell to the wayside. They chose to base their reality on what they saw rather than basing their reality on the promises of God. Once they saw the giants—and once they submitted themselves to fear—every word of God was forgotten.
How can we avoid this same disaster of doubt? One method is to quickly and forcefully, without hesitation, rebuke and renounce any and all thoughts that arise to oppose the Word of God.
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is complete" (2 Cor. 10:3-6).
In this very familiar passage of Scripture we discover some secrets to overcoming the cloud of doubt:
"And in the fourth watch [between 3:00 – 6:00 a.m.] of the night, Jesus came to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, 'It is a ghost!' And they screamed out with fright.
"But instantly He spoke to them, saying, 'Take courage! I Am! Stop being afraid!' And Peter answered Him, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." He said, "Come!" So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and he came toward Jesus.
But when he perceived and felt the strong wind, he was frightened, and as he began to sink, he cried out, 'Lord, save me [from death]!' Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and caught and held him, saying to him, 'O you of little faith, why did you doubt?' And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. And those in the boat knelt and worshiped Him, saying, 'Truly You are the Son of God!'" (Matt. 14:25-33, AMP).
What an awesome exploit! Peter was a mere man, walking on the water! One point to ponder is this: If we fully follow the commands of Christ, we can overcome all limitations, even the laws of gravity. Peter was standing and walking on the word of the Son of God, who asked him to "Come!" What instigated Peter's sinking under the waves? He turned his eyes away from Jesus toward the natural situation and circumstances.
Peter began to focus on the winds and the waves, and opened the door to doubt—doubt that erased from Peter's heart the very fact that he was walking on water, making his way to Christ, standing on the Word of God. But Peter's advancement was suddenly halted. He was no longer walking at and upon the command of Christ—and was in need of rescue.
What lessons do we learn from this powerful experience between Peter and Jesus? Do not let your surroundings and the challenging events you are facing keep you from holding on to the command of Christ! Keep your focus on Christ, not the adversity occurring about you. As we keep our heart and mind focused upon Christ Jesus, our heart and mind are filled with abiding peace (see Is. 26:3-4).
Doubt is a dark, evil womb that gives birth to unbelief and fear—and both will rob you of the blessing of God. The fearful and unbelieving are cast into Hell (see Rev. 21:8).
Doubt and fear have devastating effects on our prayer life:
"Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord, [for being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides]" (James 1:6-8, AMP).
Christ reveals that doubt will hinder answered prayer. As the disciples stand shocked at the dried, dead fig tree, Christ states:
"And Jesus, replying, said to them, 'Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!" and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]'" (Mark 11:22-24, AMP).
Jesus reminds us that if our prayers are to be powerful and effective, they must be spoken in steadfast faith. Notice the phrase "and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him."
Only believe! All things are possible—only believe!
What exactly is an antidote? I appreciate this definition: A substance that counteracts poison. What is the antidote for doubt? The best antidote for the dark cloud of doubt is the radiant light of God's Word. Faith is the force with which we fight against doubt—and faith comes by hearing the Word.
The supernatural power of God will drive away doubt. Note that John the Baptist in prison was immersed in the dark cloud of doubt. Doubt silenced this great voice for God! But also notice what Jesus communicates to him: "Go and tell John what you hear and see: The blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them" (see Matt. 11:4-5, MEV).
Paul and Silas in prison drove back the dark cloud of doubt with shouts of praise and prayers of adoration.
Praise and thanksgiving, with an attitude of gratitude, can transform any situation!
"The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can people do to me?" (Ps. 118:6).
"In the day when I am afraid, I will trust in You" (Ps. 56:3).
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, turn from doubt as quickly as possible—don't let the enemy gain one foothold in your mind or heart. Meditate daily on Psalm 27, planting God's precious promises deep within your heart. In prayer and meditation, declare these words as true over your life and the lives of your loved ones. These precious promises of God will prepare you for adverse circumstances!
Psalm 27 (AMP)
[A Psalm] of David
1 The Lord is my Light and my Salvation – whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, [even then] in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.
5 For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock.
6 And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; have mercy and be gracious to me and answer me!
8 You have said, "Seek My face [inquire for and require My presence as your vital need]." My heart says to You, "Your face (Your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for, and require [of necessity and on the authority of Your Word]."
9 Hide not Your face from me; turn not Your servant away in anger, You Who have been my help! Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation!
10 Although my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet the Lord will take me up [adopt me as His child].
11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain and even path because of my enemies [those who lie in wait for me].
12 Give me not up to the will of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me; they breathe out cruelty and violence.
13 [What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!
14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

Jeremiah 23: 36

"But you must not mention, 'a message from the Lord' again, because each one's word becomes their own message. So you distort the words of the living God, the Lord Almighty, our God."
~ (Jeremiah 23: 36)

Be blessed in His Truth today, family. Amen.

Caution!!!!!

Proverbs 16:25
"There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death."

"CAUTION!!!!!"

"CAREFULLY EXAMINE THE ROAD YOU TRAVEL!!!!!"

"YOU MAY NOT END UP WHERE YOU THOUGHT YOU WOULD!!!!!"

The whole thing about DECEPTION is that a person truly believes that they are on the right path!
But the fact still remains that they are DECEIVED!
They will sadly continue to travel the road that leads to HELL & believe that they have boarded a one-way flight to HEAVEN!

Our job as Christians is to warn them in love & patiently steer them toward the right path!
But sometimes this is hard because it may be your close & personal friend or family member!
They may not choose to heed your warnings.
But continue to love on them & believe God for a miracle!

"IT IS GOD'S WILL THAT NONE PERISH, BUT EVERYONE MUST MAKE A PERSONAL CHOICE TO COMPLETELY SURRENDER THEIR HEART'S TO JESUS!"

If you haven't given it ALL, then you haven't given NOTHING AT ALL!
Therefore, I would like to issue this challenge once more:
"CAUTION!!!!!"
"CAREFULLY EXAMINE THE ROAD YOU TRAVEL!!!!!"
"YOU MAY NOT END UP WHERE YOU THOUGHT YOU WOULD!!!!!"

Mark 13: 22 FALSE

"For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and will perform signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, the elect." ~ (Mark 13: 22)

FALSE - 1. contrary to fact or truth. 2. deliberately untrue. 3. arising from mistaken ideas.

I'm Possible!

Luke 1:37
"For nothing will be impossible with God."

Jesus said it all;
"I'm possible!"

"NEVER LET FEAR NOR DOUBT GET THE BEST OF YOU!"
"YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR THROUGH CHRIST JESUS!"

"IF IT'S GOD'S PLAN FOR YOU, IT WILL COME TO PASS!"
Don't view failures as defeat, but as an opportunity to start over with experience!
God has a wonderful plan for you!
But you must embrace it with confidence!
Knowing that if He begins something in you, He is faithful to see it through!

Today, I want to challenge you to:
"BELIEVE THAT ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST!"

I also want to warn you that:
"ONLY THAT WHICH IS IN GOD'S WILL CAN BE POSSIBLE FOR YOUR LIFE!"
Therefore, don't go saying that in 'Jesus Name' you are going to win the lottery.
It has to be 'God's Will & God's Plan' coupled with Unselfish Motive!!!
It has to be for the furtherance of His Kingdom!!!
Not the indulgence of your flesh!!!

Psalm 119: 104

"I gain understanding from Your precepts; therefore I hate every false way." ~ (Psalm 119: 104)

Father, protect us from false teachings and ways. Guard our hearts from those who wish to distort the reality of who You are. Amen.

Number One!

Philippians 3:10-12
"That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus."

"JESUS LAID HIS HANDS ON YOU & ME WITH THE EXPRESS PURPOSE OF FREEING US FROM HELL!"
"BUT WE MUST BE WISE ENOUGH TO MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO GRAB HOLD OF HIM!"

"OUR FREEDOM CAME AT THE EXPENSE OF HIS HORRIFIC DEATH!"
"ETERNAL LIFE IS THE RESULT OF THE FATHER'S GREAT MERCY'S!"
"IT WAS THROUGH THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST THAT THE GATES OF HEAVEN WERE OPENED TO US!"

But it is going to take an "Act of Faith" on our part to continuously "Hold On!"
If Jesus is not "NUMBER ONE" in our hearts, then He is "LAST!"
There is no "IN BETWEEN!"

Therefore, I challenge everyone today to:
"PRESS ON!"
"PRESS UNTIL THE DAY YOU MEET JESUS FACE TO FACE!"
"THEN YOU WILL HAVE ATTAINED YOUR PURPOSE & YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY WITH JESUS!"

Hebrews 4: 12

"For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
~ (Hebrews 4: 12)

We praise and thank You Father, for the Holy Scriptures You have given to guide and direct our lives. Amen!

Isaian 40: 8

"The grass withers and the flowers fail, but the Word of our God endures forever."
~ (Isaiah 40: 8)
                       B.I.B.L.E.

                                                                                                                  AMEN.

The Guest of Honor!

Philippians 3:7-8
"But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ..."

My purpose here on earth is to serve Jesus!
Everything that comes my way,
Whether great or small,
Is but an opportunity for me to be grateful!

Lord, may I never allow things to become the "THING" I live for!
May You always be my "PRIZE!"
May I always be content with what You send my way!
May I continue to seek You all the days of my life!

"LORD, MAY YOU ALWAYS BE NUMBER ONE WITHOUT FAIL!"

Today, I would like to invite everyone to:
"ALLOW JESUS TO BECOME THE GUEST OF HONOR IN YOUR HEART!"
"HE IS SOOOOOOOOOOO WORTHY!"

True Greatness!

2 Samuel 5:10
"David became greater and greater, for the Lord God of hosts was with him."

Many people seek to make a name for themselves.
They try to fit in with the "IN CROWD."
They seek to have their names exalted.
They go & buy best of everything.
They do whatever it takes to win the approval of others.
They trample on others just to get their point across.
They step on those weaker than they in order to achieve status.
They lie, cheat, steal, discourage & push others away.
They do not submit to authority except when it is convenient & to their advantage.
They claim to always be victimized.
They claim that someone else is always to blame.
They are easily offended when someone corrects them.
"THEY DO, THEY SPEAK, THEY REACT FOOLISHLY!"

All because they fail to realize that:
"GOD IS THAT ONE WHO EXALTS!"
"IT IS GOD WHO GIVES POWER TO PROSPER!"
"IT IS GOD WHO GRANTS FAVOR!"
"IT IS GOD WHO SETS SOMEONE APART!"
"IT IS GOD WHO MAKES SOMEONE STAND OUT!"

I know that today's message may seem a bit strong, but I felt stirred in my spirit to speak a word of correction for someone today!

Maybe you have been trying to do something with the best intentions.
But somewhere along the way, these symptoms appeared & got the best of you.
Maybe something happened & you felt the need to abandon all hope of God being on your side.
Maybe you believe that people are against you.

Whatever the case maybe, I just want you to know that:
"GOD HAS A PLAN & PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE!"
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT ON YOUR OWN!"
"GOD'S PLAN WILL EVENTUALLY SUPERSEDE YOUR AGENDA!"
"HIS PLANS FOR YOU ARE GREATER!"

"IT IS WHEN GOD IS WITH YOU THAT YOU ACTUALLY BECOME SOMEONE WORTH LOOKING TO!"

Psalm 119: 97

"Oh, how I love Your instruction! It is my meditation all day long."
~ (Psalm 119: 97)

"Unless I am convinced by Scripture and by plain reason and not by popes and councils who have often contradicted themselves, my conscience is captive to the Word of God." ~ Martin Luther

Slow Down & Enjoy the Moment!

Deuteronomy 4:29-31
"But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey Him. For the LORD your God is a merciful God; He will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which He confirmed to them by oath."

When you need a change.
When you feel the urge to step out.
When you feel pressed on every side.
That is when it is time to shut everything down & spend quality time with Jesus!
It is in those moments of desperation & brokenness that true healing & refreshing take place!

"GOD DESIRES TO SATISFY YOUR INMOST BEING!"
"BUT NOT ACCORDING TO YOUR UNDERSTANDING!"
"HE USUALLY GOES DEEPER THAN YOU EXPECT HIM TO!"
"HE GOES BEYOND WHAT YOUR EXPECTATIONS ALLOW!"

"JESUS CAME TO GIVE US LIFE!"
"BUT NOT JUST A REGULAR LIFE!"
"HE CAME TO GIVE US A LIFE FULL OF POTENTIAL, FULFILLMENT & ABUNDANCE!"

"HE CAME TO FILL THE VOID WITHIN OUR LIVE'S!"
But in order for this to take place, we must allow Him to empty us of those things that are potentially harmful to our walk of Faith!

In this Christmas season, I would just like to encourage everyone to:
"KEEP IT SIMPLE BEFORE COMPLICATIONS GET THE BEST OF YOU!"
"DON'T GET SO BUSY THAT YOU FAIL TO ENJOY THE CELEBRATION OF THE BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST!"

John 5: 39

"You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about Me." ~ (John 5: 39)

Praise be to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Amen.

Be His Messenger!

Mark 1:1-3
"The BEGINNING of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: "Behold, I send My messenger ahead of You, Who will prepare Your way;
The voice of one crying in the wilderness,
'Make ready the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight.'"

"THE GOSPEL BEGINS WITH SOMEONE GOING!"
"IT ALWAYS LEADS TO THE CROSS!"
"IT ESTABLISHES THE PATHWAY TO GOD!"
"IT ULTIMATELY RESULTS IN ETERNAL LIFE FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE!"

"BUT IT BEGINS WITH ONE!"

Today, will you be that ONE?
Will you be that Messenger?
Will you be that Voice for Jesus?

Will you proclaim that:
"WRONG IS WRONG!" Even if everyone is doing it!
And that:
"RIGHT IS RIGHT!" Even if no one else is!

Today, I feel a heavy burden to challenge you to:
"STAND UP FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, EVEN IF NO ONE ELSE WILL!"
"BE THE ONE THAT WILL LEND HIS/HER VOICE FOR THE GOSPEL!"
"PROCLAIM TO THE WORLD THAT THERE IS ONE WHO LOVES THEM!"
"HIS NAME IS JESUS & HE LOVES THEM IN THE MIDST OF THEIR SIN!"
"HE CALLS THEM TO REPENTANCE FOR THE SALVATION OF THEIR SOULS!"

2 Timothy 3: 16 SCRIPTURE

"All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness." ~ (2 Timothy 3: 16)

SCRIPTURE - 1. the books of either the Old Testament or the New Testament or of both: the Bible. 2. sacred writings.

Dare to Live!

James 1:4-8
"Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."
"IF YOU KEEP CHANGING YOUR MIND, YOU WILL NEVER MAKE A DECISION WORTH CHASING AFTER!"
Dreams are meant to be fulfilled.
But this will only take place as you set a fixed goal & focus on reaching it!
Constantly relocating your efforts will eventually diminish your resources.
As well as your passions & energies!
DISCIPLINE IS A DECISION!
You must decide if "WHAT YOU WANT NOW" is more important than "WHAT YOU WANT MOST!"
Make a conscious effort to follow after God's Plan for your life!
Although others will come alongside you, the path is ultimately your's to walk!
Others will walk "WITH" you, but they can not walk it "FOR" you!
It is your path, your road & ultimately your goal!
Today, I want to encourage you to:
"MAKE THE TO CHOICE TO MAKE A DECISION THAT YOU WILL STICK TO!"
"GOD IS FOR YOU, NOT AGAINST YOU!"
"DARE TO LIVE FOR JESUS FOR ETERNITY!"

Romans 15: 4

"For whatever was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that we may have hope through endurance and through the encouragement from the Scripture." ~ (Romans 15: 4)

                                      Absolute Truth

We praise You, God, for the Holy Scriptures, which teach us all truth. Amen.

1 Chronicles 16: 8

"Give thanks to Yahweh; call on His name; proclaim His deeds among the people." ~ (1 Chronicles 16: 8)

Heavenly Father, You live outside the barriers of time, and yet if humanity were to thank You for everything we owe thanks to You for, it couldn't be done. So may the lives You gave us and what we do with them be dedicated as thanksgiving to You. Amen.

Love!

1 Corinthians 13:1-3
"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing."

"TO LOVE JESUS IS TO EMBRACE THOSE HE DIED FOR!"

Sometimes we mistaken religious activity for Godly Duty.
We fail to realize that it is not about how much we do for others, but how much love we pour into our actions.

"EVERYTHING WE DO MUST BE DONE WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF HELPING OTHERS REACH ETERNITY WITH CLOTHES THAT ARE NOT STAINED WITH SIN!"

"WE MUST HELP THEM DRESS UP IN JESUS IN ORDER TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE!"
"FAILING TO REACH THIS GOAL WILL ONLY LAND THEM IN ETERNAL FIRE!"

Therefore, do good, but do it with "Salvation" in mind!
Let "Salvation" be your motivator!

Don't just feel bad because you see a person in need & give them temporary relief.
Instead, allow the Holy Spirit to help you meet them with Eternal Sustenance!

"WE WERE CREATED TO PROMOTE THE GOOD NEWS OF ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED!"

Jesus died for everyone!
But that doesn't make everyone a son & daughter of God!
"ONLY THOSE WHO REPENT & BELIEVE ON JESUS, THE SON OF GOD!"

Everything we do, must revolve around Salvation!
"TO LOVE JESUS IS TO EMBRACE THOSE HE DIED FOR!"

Colossians 3: 17

What's at the center of your heart?

John 15:1-8
"I am the true vine, and My Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. REMAIN IN ME, AS I ALSO IN YOU. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; APART from Me you can do NOTHING. If you do not remain in Me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to My Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples."

"JESUS HAS TO BE AT THE CENTER OF YOUR HEART OR YOU WILL MISS THE MARK EVERY TIME!"

No matter how many good deeds you do!
If Jesus is not is the midst, it will eventually fail to bare lasting fruit!
The purpose of good deeds is to bring God glory!

Therefore in this new Christmas Season, as you give gifts & go out of your way to do things you normally wouldn't, I would just like to encourage you to:
"KEEP JESUS AT THE CENTER OF YOUR HEART!"

Don't just give a gift or perform a good deed to make someone feel better or appreciated.
Allow God to use that opportunity to genuinely express the "LOVE OF GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST!"
Be intentional with sharing the Gospel this Christmas Season!
After all, Jesus is the reason we celebrate Christmas, isn't He?

This season, let the Holy Spirit lead you & be extra sensitive to His stirring!
Because it can be the crucial moment in a person's life when they turn from sin & accept Jesus into their heart's, receiving eternal life!

"KEEP JESUS AT THE CENTER OF YOUR HEART!"

Knowing "WHY" makes a difference!

Matthew 24:44-46
"For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will. "Who then is the faithful and sensible slave whom his master put in charge of His household to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when He comes."

Word of advice:
"DON'T EVER GET CAUGHT UP WITH WHAT YOU ARE DOING!"
"INSTEAD, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHY YOU ARE DOING IT!"

It is better to do very little with all your heart, than to do a lot with very little passion.
God has called you into His fold for a specific purpose, not your selfish agenda.
When you give yourself wholeheartedly to His service, you become "USEFUL" for His Kingdom.
But when you hold yourself back due to selfish agenda, you become a "DISADVANTAGE" to His Kingdom.

"GOD WANTS YOU TO BE FAITHFUL & SENSIBLE!"
"HE NEEDS YOU TO BE ABLE TO PROPERLY DISCERN TIMES & SEASONS!"

Why?
"TO FEED HIS HOUSEHOLD WITH FOOD THAT IS HEALTHY!"
"BECAUSE SOMEDAY JESUS WILL RETURN & HE WILL BE EXPECTING TO FIND HIS HOUSE IN ORDER!"

Therefore, if something has been distracting you from fulfilling your duties to God's Kingdom.
I encourage you, from personal experience, to lay it aside & "MAKE THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING!"
Understanding why you do what you do creates passion that can not be obtained elsewhere!

"IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS!"
"IT'S ALL ABOUT LOST SOULS!"
"IT'S ALL ABOUT POPULATING GOD'S KINGDOM WITH TRUE WORSHIPPERS!"

Luke 17: 15-17

"One of them, when he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked Him. And he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked,"Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?"
~ (Luke 17: 15-17)

Feeling Grateful!

I just have a burning desire to say:
"THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!"

John 6: 11 THANKS

"Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish." ~ (John 6: 11)

                       five-loaves-two-fishes2.jpg

THANKS - 1. kind or grateful thoughts. 2. an expression of gratitude.
