But Ittai replied to the king, “As surely as the Lord lives, and as my lord the king lives, wherever my lord the king may be, whether it means life or death, there will your servant be.”
"WHERE EVER!"
"WHETHER IT MEANS LIFE OR DEATH!"
"YOUR SERVANT WILL BE THERE!"
There are 3 defining characteristics of a Servant of God:
1- OBEDIENCE: (Where Ever!)
Obedience enables the Servant of God to reach the ends of the world with the Gospel.
2- BOLDNESS: (Whether it means Life or Death!)
Boldness enables the Servant of God to enter Satan's territory fully confident of God's Ability to Overcome Satan's Power.
3- COMMITMENT:
Commitment enables the Servant of God to remain focused on accomplishing God's Perfect Will despite of any obstacles.
"OBEDIENCE + BOLDNESS + COMMITMENT = SERVANT OF GOD"
In order to be a POWERHOUSE, you must have POWER!
Lack of any one of these 3 characteristics creates an imbalance & demands a time of re-evaluation in order to establish discipline.
