Ever want to share scripture when witnessing but felt lost? Your testimony or what Jesus did for you is a great place to start, but if your like me when I was first saved, I wanted to share scripture. Well, here are 10 verses to get you started. Write them in the front of your Bible for easy access when witnessing until you memorize them, then dig into the Word for more.
2. John 3:16 But God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
3. Luke 24:7 Jesus said "The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and
on the third day be raised again."
4. Acts 2:32-33 And God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear
5. Hebrews 7:23-25 Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
6. 1 John 3:7-10 Dear children, do not
let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he
is righteous. He who does what is
sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.
The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one
who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he
cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. This is how we know
who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who
does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love
his brother.
7. 1 John 3:16 This is how we know
what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
8. 1 John 5:12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
9. 1 Peter 5:10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of
Jesus, so after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
10. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
