THE BIBLE!

Deuteronomy 5:1-3
"Moses summoned all Israel and said:
Hear, Israel, the decrees and laws I declare in your hearing today. Learn them and be sure to follow them. THE LORD OUR GOD MADE A COVENANT WITH US AT HOREB. It was NOT WITH OUR ANCESTORS that the Lord made this covenant, BUT WITH US, with all of us WHO ARE ALIVE HERE TODAY."

"THE LORD OUR GOD MADE A COVENANT WITH US AT HOREB."
"NOT WITH OUR ANCESTORS..."
"BUT WITH US..."
"WHO ARE ALIVE HERE TODAY."

The Bible is not some folk tale that should be easily dismissed.
Nor is it a compilation of rules & stories intended to make us better people.
It is not a novel meant to be enjoyed for it's poetic beauty.
Most importantly;
"THE BIBLE IS NOT OUTDATED!!!"

"THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD!"
"GOD SPEAKING TO US TODAY THROUGH HIS SON, JESUS!"

"THE BIBLE IS RELEVANT TO OUR PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCE!"
"NOT JUST FOR THOSE PEPLE IN THE PAST!"

"IT CAN SAVE OUR LIFE!"
"IT CAN CHANGE OUR LIFE!"
"BUT ONE THING IT CAN NOT DO IS FAIL BECAUSE WE IGNORE IT!"

God is the eternal "I AM", not the "I WAS" that many people make Him out to be!"
"GOD HAS MADE A COVENANT WITH US TODAY!"
"NOT JUST WITH THOSE IN THE PAST!"
"BUT WITH US!"
"WHO ARE ALIVE TODAY!!!"

Today, I would like to encourage you to:
"TAKE OWNERSHIP OF GOD'S WORD FOR YOUR LIFE!"
"LET GOD'S WORD SPEAK TO YOUR CURRENT SITUATION!"
"LET JESUS BE REVEALED TO YOU TODAY AS YOU OPEN UP YOUR HEART!"
