Numbers 22: 18 DEFY

"But Balaam responded to the servants of Balak, 'If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not defy the command of the Lord my God to do anything great or small."

DEFY - 1. to oppose or resist openly or boldly. 2. to refuse to submit to or cooperate with.
