John 4:34b-35b
"My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work. Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are ready for harvest."
While meals are meant to nourish us, they are also meant to provide a sense of satisfaction.
If we are not enjoying our food, there is very little chance that we will continue preparing the same dish.
Now, this doesn't mean that there won't be hard times.
Nor that on occasion, trials won't leave a bad taste.
But what it does mean is that we must remember "WHY WE DO IT!"
"OUR VERY EXISTENCE DEPENDS ON IT!"
"IF WE DO NOT EAT, WE WILL EVENTUALLY CEASE TO EXIST!"
"IF WE DO NOT SERVE JOYFULLY, OUR MINISTRY WILL EVENTUALLY DIMINISH & ULTIMATELY SUFFER A LOSS OF LIFE!"
"THEREFORE, LET US JOYFULLY EAT THE MEAT GOD HAS PROVIDED!"
"LET US SERVE AS IF OUR LIVE'S DEPENDED ON IT!"
"LET US DO THE WILL OF GOD FOR OUR LIVE'S!"
"LET US ENJOY THE FEAST SET BEFORE US!"
"LET US LOVE JESUS & THE PEOPLE THAT JESUS LOVES!"
"LORD, MAY OUR FOOD BE TO DO YOUR WILL!"
"LORD, MAY WE SEE THE NEED IN THE HARVEST FIELD!"
"LORD, MAY WE MEET THE NEED OF THE NATIONS FOR YOUR GLORY!"
