Matthew 6:9a

"This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven'..."
Many make the terrible mistake of approaching God as if He were unapproachable!
'God' is a God that desires to be reached!
'God' is a God that desires communication!
'God' is a God that considers Himself OUR FATHER!
Did you get that?
HE CONSIDERS US HIS FAMILY!
HE BECOMES MORE SPECIFIC BY CALLING US HIS CHILDREN!
Every father longs to interact with their children!
To give them gifts!
To meet their needs!
To enjoy their conversation!
To watch them grow!
Sometimes, even just to enjoy their presence in silence!
The point is that:
"GOD, OUR GOD IS APPROACHABLE!"
When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He reminded them that they were approaching their Heavenly Father.
LET US DO THE SAME!
"LET US CONFIDENTLY APPROACH THE THRONE OF GRACE!"
Most importantly;
"LET US REMEMBER THAT HE WHO SITS ON THE THRONE IS OUR FATHER!"
"LET US REMEMBER THAT HE LONGS FOR OUR CONVERSATION!"
With all this in mind:
"DON'T VIEW GOD AS YOUR SUPPLIER, BUT INSTEAD VIEW HIM AS YOUR FATHER!"
When you view God as a supplier, eventually your conversation revolves around your needs!
But when you view God as your Father, your Conversation evolves into Adoration!
"This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven'..."
