"As for you, son of man, your people are talking together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, ‘Come and hear the message that has come from the Lord.’ My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they DO NOT put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but DO NOT put them into practice."

"LISTENING, BUT NOT PRACTICING!"
Yes, at times, God's Word can be very comforting!
Yes, at times, Gods Word can revive us in ways we could only dream of!
And yes, at times, God's Word can even add excitement to our lives!
BUT!!!
God's Word is not some song we hear & soon forget!
"HEAR & LISTEN!" "PRACTICE & DO!"
We can not separate them!
"RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AGREEING THAT GOD IS ALWAYS RIGHT!"
Now, if we know that God is always right,
Why would we do the opposite of what He commands us to?
Church Service & all it's counterparts should never be absorbed as entertainment!
It should be absorbed as life lessons & vital instructions for our personal walk with Jesus Christ!
"ENTERTAINMENT IS EASILY FORGOTTEN & EVEN CRITICIZED!"
"BUT GODLY INSTRUCTION WILL HOLD DEAR & BE REVERENCED WHEN WE PUT IT INTO PRACTICE!"
