2 Chronicles 15:1-8
"The Spirit of God came on Azariah son of Oded. He went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. For a long time Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach and without the law. In those days it was not safe to travel about, for all the inhabitants of the lands were in great turmoil. One nation was being crushed by another and one city by another, because God was troubling them with every kind of distress. But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage. He removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He repaired the altar of the Lord that was in front of the portico of the Lord ’s temple."
Notice that when King Asa heard these words, he was moved to action.
"KNOWLEDGE, IF NOT ACCOMPANIED BY OBEDIENCE, EXPOSES A FAULTY FAITH!"
"IF WE BELIEVE WHAT WE LEARN THROUGH GOD'S WORD,
THEN ACTION WILL BECOME A NATURAL REACTION!"
"BECAUSE TRUE FAITH DEMANDS APPLICATION!"
"BECAUSE WISDOM ONLY BECOMES WISDOM WHEN OUR KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCES APPLICATION!"

Jesus living in our heart!
Ephesians 3:16-17 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love
We are strenghtened in our inner man through the Holy Spirit who gives us strengh. When we surrender our inner man to the Spirit, we allow Christ to then come and dwell in our hearts. This transaction is made by faith that we may be rooted and grounded in God's love.
Jesus wants to come and live in your heart. Once Jesus comes in, He will do some spiritual cleaning. This cleaning may hurt, it may cause you to lose some of your "treasured possessions" but know that God is in control. The Lord Jesus came to this earth in order that we would know the Father and that we would live a life for Him.
God bless you as you live your life for the Lord as He is worth it all!

This morning, as I was preparing a message for troubled youth at a juvenile detention center, God placed in my heart to shared this message with everyone because someone needed to hear it.

"GOD HAS PLACED SOMETHING WONDERFUL WITHIN YOU!"
"ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DIG DEEP!"
"ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DRAW IT OUT!"
"ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN!"
"NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST!"
"NO MATTER WHO TRIES TO TELL YOU WON'T SUCCEED!"
"NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCE MAY BE!"
"YOU ALREADY HAVE IT IN YOU!"
"ALL GOD REQUIRES IS THAT YOU SHAKE OFF THE FEAR OF FAILURE & BEGIN TO WALK IN FAITH!"
We all get a second chance at life!
The question is:
"WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH YOUR'S?"

We have been studying prayer the last several weeks and the Lord shared with me the following statement:
The Prayer of Faith Makes the Unseen-Seen.
God is calling us to be a people of faith. He is calling us to believe for miracles not only in our lives, but also for others. When our faith touches God, we will see a miracle! So when you pray remember that you must believe that God is able to anwser your prayer!!

Pastor Greg Laurie tell's it like it is...
On more than one occasion, the Bible uses the metaphor of having other gods as being like adultery. James says, "Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God" (4:4).
To love this world means committing spiritual adultery. You have a choice. You can be the world's friend and God's enemy, or you can be God's friend and the world's enemy. Which will it be?
1 Chronicles 28:9-10
“And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every desire and every thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house as the sanctuary. Be strong and do the work.”
When Solomon received this charge, he was young!
He probably felt incapable!
He probably felt inadequate!
He probably felt as if he could not accomplish such a great task!
Filling his father's, (King David's), shoes may have seemed pretty scary to him at the moment!
But if you read his life accomplishments, you will soon realize that he was destined for greatness!
His shoes may have been a bit more distinct than his dad's, but nonetheless, he did great things for God & Israel!
"GOD WANTS TO USE YOUR LIFE!"
"MAYBE, YOU DON'T FEEL CAPABLE OR WORTHY!"
"MAYBE, YOU ARE AFRAID TO STEP OUT INTO THE UNKNOWN!"
"BUT GOD IS CALLING YOU TO COME, TO GO, TO DO!"
"ABOVE ALL, GOD IS CALLING YOU TO TRUST IN HIS ABILITIES, NOT YOURS!"
"WHEN JESUS IS LIVING IN YOU, SUCCESS IS SURE TO FOLLOW!"

1 Chronicles 23:30
"They were also to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord. They were to do the same in the evening..."
This was a requirement for the Levites to fulfill as part of their priestly duties!
Why?
Because without gratitude, their service would become a burden & not a blessing!
The same goes for us as ministers of the Gospel!
We must take time on a daily basis to remember God's Goodness to us on a personal level or our focus will be lost!
The reason we preach the Gospel is because God placed His Love inside of us & if we loose focus of God's Great Salvation, we will eventually become ineffective in ministry!
"IN ORDER TO FULFILL OUR DUTIES EFFECTIVELY, WE MUST CONTINUALLY FOCUS ON THE REASON WE MINISTER!"
"JESUS IS THE REASON WE ARE SAVED!"
"SALVATION IS THE MESSAGE WE PREACH!"
"THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP IS THE PRICE WE PAY!"
"AND THE JOY OF HIS LOVE IS WHY WE PRAISE!"
Therefore, be grateful for what He has given you!
So that you do not loose focus of your blessings!
Or grumbling will become your curse!"
I PRAY THAT GOD WOULD REFRESH OUR MEMORY ON A DAILY BASIS!
I PRAY THAT OUR DESIRE WOULD BE TO PRAISE HIM!
Most of all;
I PRAY THAT WE WOULD CHOOSE TO SERVE HIM!
May God make His countenance to shine upon you!

"Kenaniah, the head Levite was in charge of the singing; that was his responsibility because he was skillful at it."
"THAT WAS HIS RESPONSIBILITY!"
Why?
"BECAUSE HE WAS SKILLFUL AT IT!"
The gifts God has placed inside each one of us were placed there with a purpose!
They were not meant to be hid!
They were not meant to be sold!
Nor were they meant to be withheld!
"THEY WERE MEANT TO BE USED!"
"THEY WERE MEANT TO BE SHARED!"
"THEY WERE MEANT TO BE GIVEN AWAY!"
The Gifts of God are intended to bring God Praise!
The Gifts of God carry Responsibility!
Eventually, God will require an account of our actions!
Why we did or did not do certain things that were in our power to do!
Here, Kenaniah, fulfilled his duty by simply doing what he was skillful at!
He could sing, so he sang for the Glory of God!
He could lead, so he was in charge of directing the Levitical choir!
He was the head Levite, so he taught others about serving God!
"THAT WAS HIS RESPONSIBILITY!"
Why?

A skill is a gift which God gives us all, with the intent that we would use it properly & generously for His Glory!
Ask yourself;
"What skills do I have?"
Then ask yourself;
"Have I been using them to bring God Glory?"
I encourage everyone to make the necessary adjustments in order that our skills would be aligned with God's Purpose!
"THAT WAS HIS RESPONSIBILITY!"

"FOR THERE WAS JOY IN ISRAEL!"
"JOY MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!"
Notice that in this verse:
Even the neighbors from afar wanted to join the party!
There was abundance!
Above all, there was unity!
Why?
BECAUSE THERE WAS JOY IN ISRAEL!
JOY WILL ALWAYS LEAD TO FULFILLMENT!
BECAUSE JOY DERIVES FROM CONTENTMENT!
In other words,
"Be content with what you have at the moment & eventually your circumstance will improve!"
Bitterness will weigh you down!
But Joy will thrust you forward!

When we decide on taking matters into our own hands,
Things usually begin to go wrong!
When we decide to seek outside guidance other than God's,
Things usually become confusing!
When we veer off the path God has set for us,
Things usually get bumpy!
When God entrusts us with His possessions,
"FAITHFULNESS IS HIS REQUIREMENT!"
1 Chronicles 9:1b says this about the Israelites;
"They were taken captive to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness."
"UNFAITHFULNESS SHOULD NOT BE TAKE LIGHTLY BY ANY CHRISTIAN!"
We must guard our hearts concerning unfaithfulness on a daily basis!
"UNFAITHFULNESS BRINGS ABOUT FAILURE & BONDAGE!"
"BUT FAITHFULNESS ASSURES SUCCESS & FREEDOM!"
God only desires the best for us!
But God's Best requires faithfulness!
"NOT PERFECTION!"

Stand on God's Promises!
Rely on His Instruction!

Sometimes No Commentary is Needed.
God’s Love and Ours Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. 1 John 4:7-21
Galatians 5:13-18

It says Me & My House!
When we are 'LED BY THE SPIRIT',
Our desire is to devote 'EVERYTHING' we have for the Service of God's Kingdom!
Little by little, we begin to remove anything that hinders our growth.
God wants our life's to bring Him glory!
Therefore don't be surprised if He exposes something today that needs to be removed from your house in order for Him to effectively use you!

1 Peter 4:8

Love comes in many forms!
Love has many faces!
Love has many names!
Love does not always come in the same fashion!
Love may have come yesterday in the likeness of a heart-felt smile!
Love may come today in the form of a child!
Love will certainly be there tomorrow, but who knows in what way!
Love will always make its presence known to someone in need!
Who knows?
Maybe you will be the one that Love chooses to use today!
Maybe you will offer that heart-felt smile!
Maybe you will be the expression of Love to someone today!
Who knows?
It could be that Love has been there all along, but you did not recognize it!
Love came in the form of a baby!
Love matured into an adult!
Love set His eyes on saving the world one person at a time!
Love walked the earth giving Himself away!
Love ultimately, died on a cross for you & me!
And when all was said & done, the third day HE ROSE!
LOVE NEVER FAILS!
Who knows?
Maybe you know Love or maybe you are seeking Love!
Maybe you are one of us who has searched for Love in all the wrong places!
Who knows?
JESUS is the name that Love chose to use while He walked the earth!
You are the one that Love wants to use today!
But Love can only dwell within a willing vessel!
Will that be you today?
Who knows?

Maybe you will be the expression of Love to someone today!
Who knows?
It could be that Love has been there all along, but you did not recognize it!
Love came in the form of a baby!
Love matured into an adult!
Love set His eyes on saving the world one person at a time!
Love walked the earth giving Himself away!
Love ultimately, died on a cross for you & me!
And when all was said & done, the third day HE ROSE!
LOVE NEVER FAILS!
Who knows?
Maybe you know Love or maybe you are seeking Love!
Maybe you are one of us who has searched for Love in all the wrong places!
Who knows?
JESUS is the name that Love chose to use while He walked the earth!
You are the one that Love wants to use today!
But Love can only dwell within a willing vessel!

Galatians 2:18-21
"For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."
"FOR IF I BUILD AGAIN THOSE THINGS WHICH I HAVE DESTROYED!"
As a contractor & a builder, I have had my fair share of experiences with renovations, remodeling & all the tough/critical decisions that come with the territory.
One of the truly hard habits to break though for many is when they begin reconstruction, they usually opt for the easy & less stressful way out.
They usually ask for the cosmetic work.
In other words:
"JUST FIX THE SURFACE!" "COVER THE BLEMISHES!" "HIDE THE DEFECTS!"
But as we begin to uncover what truly exists behind their walls, underneath their floors & in their pipes, their perspective almost always seems to change & they begin to ask me to remove everything in order to rebuild anew.
Why, you may be asking yourself?
The reason is that they have begun to realize within themselves:
"SOME THINGS ARE NOT WORTH REBUILDING!"
"SOMETIMES, IT IS BETTER TO START AFRESH!"
Now we get to the good part!

"WHY WOULD I EVER TURN FROM WHAT WORKS TO WHAT DOESN'T?"
"I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."

Psalm 19:9b-11
"The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward."
MANY accept those things which are placed before them as the Will of God for their life's, but VERY FEW actually seek God to know if what is before them is His Will for them.
The Bible teaches us to:
"PROVE ALL THINGS!" (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
Therefore, we should be very cautious as to what is before us!
The enemy paints a pretty picture!
The enemy tells a wonderful story!
The enemy even go as far as to accommodate our desires!
Am I saying that Satan is working hand & hand with God?
Certainly Not!
On The Contrary!
Satan disguises himself as a minister of light, BUT THERE IS ONLY DARKNESS LURKING WITHIN!
Therefore, BE CAUTIOUS!
Don't ever 'JUST ACCEPT' what is placed before you!
Whether it be circumstantial, financial or physical!
"ALWAYS SEEK GOD TO KNOW WHETHER OR NOT HE IS INVOLVED!"
"DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT!"
"DON'T TAKE YOUR MOST TRUSTED FRIENDS WORD FOR IT!"
"DON'T EVEN TAKE YOUR OWN WORD FOR IT!"
If you want to know God's Will, then GO directly to the SOURCE!
"TAKE GOD'S WORD FOR IT!"

Do you have a crazy schedule?
How to make mission (Discipleship & Evangelism) a part of your schedule and not just one more thing to add to your schedule.
Ezekiel 33:30-32
"As for you, son of man, your people are talking together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, ‘Come and hear the message that has come from the Lord.’ My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they DO NOT put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but DO NOT put them into practice."
"HEARING, BUT NOT DOING"
"LISTENING, BUT NOT PRACTICING!"
Yes, at times, God's Word can be very comforting!
Yes, at times, Gods Word can revive us in ways we could only dream of!
And yes, at times, God's Word can even add excitement to our lives!
BUT!!!
God's Word is not some song we hear & soon forget!
"HEAR & LISTEN!" "PRACTICE & DO!"
We can not separate them!
"RIGHTEOUSNESS IS AGREEING THAT GOD IS ALWAYS RIGHT!"
Now, if we know that God is always right,
Why would we do the opposite of what He commands us to?
Church Service & all it's counterparts should never be absorbed as entertainment!
It should be absorbed as life lessons & vital instructions for our personal walk with Jesus Christ!
"ENTERTAINMENT IS EASILY FORGOTTEN & EVEN CRITICIZED!"
"BUT GODLY INSTRUCTION WILL HOLD DEAR & BE REVERENCED WHEN WE PUT IT INTO PRACTICE!"
"HEARING, BUT NOT DOING"
"LISTENING, BUT NOT PRACTICING!"

Isaiah 26:3-4
"You will keep him in perfect peace. Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength."
"ANXIETY WILL ZAP YOU OF YOUR STRENGTH!"
"WORRY WILL ROB YOU OF YOUR PEACE!"
"YOUR JOY WILL BE DEPLETED!"
But when you make God the center of your attention;
"YOUR STRENGTH WILL BE RENEWED!"
"YOUR PEACE WILL OVERFLOW!"
"YOUR JOY WILL BECOME CONTAGIOUS!"
Why?
Because He who holds all things good is God!
Being anxious will not speed up the process!
Worrying won't help the situation!
And walking around with a frown will only draw attention to how critical your situation is, but not how powerful your God is!
"WE WERE MADE TO DISPLAY HIS GLORY & MIGHT!"
"WE WERE MADE TO PROCLAIM HIS SALVATION & LIFE!"
Therefore, as we go through life;
"LET US TRUST IN HIM TO CARE FOR OUR SITUATIONS & LET US FOCUS MORE ON DELIVERING HIS MESSAGE OF LOVE TO THE WORLD!"

They say one thing but do another...
| Jesus replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. ~ Mark 7:6 ~
The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught ~ Isaiah 29:13
H ave you ever done that? Honor God with your mouth and then turn right around a commit sin?
In 2 Kings 3:11, we see a beautiful title given to the prophet Elisha by others in Israel: “He who used to pour water on the hands of Elijah.” Each time, after Elijah had finished eating, Elisha would bring some water and pour it for Elijah to wash his hands. He did that job so regularly and faithfully that others observed it and gave him that title! That is how Elisha started out on his ministry.
God will test our faithfulness in little things before He commits a ministry to us. Joshua had served Moses faithfully for many years before he became the next leader. Timothy served Paul faithfully and became an apostle.
Elisha was not known as a greatpreacher or a great prophet when he started out. He was known only as a servant. Many young people miss God’s best because they look for fame in the ministry and not for the opportunity to serve others.
Jesus taught us by His example that we should wash people’s feet till the end of our lives. It’s not that we begin by washing people’s feet for a few years and then move up to more seniorministries! No. We are called to wash people’s feet until the end of our lives. We must always be ready to do the lowly tasks. ~ commentary by brother George Mlay ~
Jesus said that He had come to serve others and not to be served by others. Be a servant always - till the end of your earthly days. If you want to be a servant of the Lord forever, be a servant ofpeople forever. Always consider yourself a servant of others and nothing else. When you serve the Lord, others will be kind to you and serve you. But don’t ever take any delight in that. Don’t ever look at them as your servants. They are your brothers. Be willing to serve them and to wash their feet. Most preachers today have become “lords”, and that’s why the anointing has gone from their ministry.

Matthew 6:9a
"This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven'..."
Many make the terrible mistake of approaching God as if He were unapproachable!
'God' is a God that desires to be reached!
'God' is a God that desires communication!
'God' is a God that considers Himself OUR FATHER!
Did you get that?
HE CONSIDERS US HIS FAMILY!
HE BECOMES MORE SPECIFIC BY CALLING US HIS CHILDREN!
Every father longs to interact with their children!
To give them gifts!
To meet their needs!
To enjoy their conversation!
To watch them grow!
Sometimes, even just to enjoy their presence in silence!
The point is that:
"GOD, OUR GOD IS APPROACHABLE!"
When Jesus taught His disciples to pray, He reminded them that they were approaching their Heavenly Father.
LET US DO THE SAME!
"LET US CONFIDENTLY APPROACH THE THRONE OF GRACE!"
Most importantly;
"LET US REMEMBER THAT HE WHO SITS ON THE THRONE IS OUR FATHER!"
"LET US REMEMBER THAT HE LONGS FOR OUR CONVERSATION!"
With all this in mind:
"DON'T VIEW GOD AS YOUR SUPPLIER, BUT INSTEAD VIEW HIM AS YOUR FATHER!"
When you view God as a supplier, eventually your conversation revolves around your needs!
But when you view God as your Father, your Conversation evolves into Adoration!

Let this be today's focus!
No extensive teaching!
No fancy catch phrases!
Just ask God to help you relate better to your family members!
Doesn't matter who did what, or who failed to do something!
The fact still remains:
"FAMILY IS FAMILY!"
When we accepted Christ, we became one with Him!
Therefore, we now take on His attributes!
"FORGIVENESS IS IN OUR DNA!"
"GRACE IS IN OUR DNA!"
"MERCY IS IN OUR DNA!"
If we are in Christ, then we are made up of Love!
"UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!"
"LOVE THAT KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES!"
"No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us."
"FAMILY WAS CREATED TO COMPLETE GOD'S CIRCLE OF LOVE!"

A newborn baby
And feel the pride
And joy he gives
But greater still
The calm assurance

Your Own Personal Music Ministry
It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. ~ Psalm 92:3 ~
Want to glorify God and be lifted up all day? Want to honor God and have wonderful rest at night? Then proclaim His love in the morning and His faithfulness at night. The psalmist made music and played instruments! Music is powerful...turn on your favorite praise songs in the morning, crank up the volume, and spend time declaring praises to God. At night, turn on some worship songs, turn the volume down, turn the lights down, and meditate on His goodness. As the Psalm says...,
"It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High"

"WHEN YOU DO GOD'S WILL, THEN GOD WILL DO!"
WITHOUT GOD'S BLESSING ON YOUR LIFE, EVERYTHING YOU DO COMES TO NOTHING!
YOUR ENDEAVORS WILL NOT BE ACCOMPANIED WITH SUCCESS!
YOUR END WILL NOT BE WHAT YOU HOPED FOR!
THINGS JUST WON'T SEEM TO FIT TOGETHER!
YOU WILL SEE IT, BUT NEVER ACHIEVE IT!
IT WILL ALWAYS BE AT YOUR REACH, BUT YOU WILL NEVER GRAB HOLD OF IT!
IT WILL CONSUME YOU AT THE END!
WHY?
BECAUSE GOD IS THE ONE WHO GIVES TRUE SUCCESS!
I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT A ONE TIME ACHIEVEMENT!
"CONTINUAL SUCCESS!"
"CONSTANT SUCCESS!"
"CONSTRUCTIVE SUCCESS!"
"SUCCESS THAT WILL BRING HIM GLORY!"
"SUCCESS THAT WILL BUILD THE BODY OF CHRIST!"
"SUCCESS THAT WILL DRAW PEOPLE'S ATTENTION TO HIM!"
"WHEN YOU DO GOD'S WILL, THEN GOD WILL DO!"
In our own strength, we are foolish to continue reaching for the unreachable!
But in God's Will, we will certainly achieve the impossible!
One thing I have learned in life is that:
"IN GOD'S WILL, THINGS GET DONE!!!"
"HAVE A BLESSED DAY!"
"WHEN YOU DO GOD'S WILL, THEN GOD WILL DO!"
