Maturity!

Matthew 16:21
"From that time on Jesus began to explain to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that He must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."

"MATURITY!"
We all mature in stages.
As we mature, we are entrusted with greater knowledge.
But revelation is given to those who constantly seek God's Will for their live's.

In this case, Jesus' disciples had been following Him & learning from Him what their Heavenly Father desired for them.

"GOD HAD A PLAN!"
Jesus' disciples were learning about this plan.
As they grew in their knowledge of God's plan, Jesus strategically exposed them to greater revelation.
Because the world would benefit from them for ages to come.

"WE LEARN IN STAGES!"
"NOT BECAUSE GOD WANTS TO HOLD ANYTHING GOOD BACK FROM US!"
"BUT BECAUSE HE DESIRES THAT WE BENEFIT FROM THIS KNOWLEDGE!"
"THEREFORE, HE WAITS FOR AN OPPORTUNE MOMENT IN WHICH WE ARE ABLE TO TRULY COMPREHEND HIS REVELATION!"

"WHATEVER GOD REVEALS THROUGH HIS WORD OR CIRCUMSTANCE, HE DOES IT WITH THE INTENDED PURPOSE OF BENEFITTING THE WHOLE BODY OF CHRIST!"

"NO ONE RECEIVES ANY REVELATION THAT WILL PLACE THEM OVER ANOTHER!"

"WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT GIFTS!"
"BUT OUR GIFTS ARE GIVEN TO US FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE WHOLE BODY!"

"DO YOU WANT TO GROW?"
"THEN SEEK THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS!"
