Matthew 5: 28 LUST

LUST - a strong feeling of sexual desire; a personal inclination for some pleasure or delight.

Let God Speak!

John 21:23
Therefore this saying went out among the brethren that that disciple would not die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”

Misinterpretation is dangerous because it leads to misrepresentation.

God desires to speak, but we must allow His Words to say what He is deems necessary for us, not what we want to hear.

The Word of God is exactly that, GOD'S WORD!
God's Word can only be effective if we let Him speak to us!

Lord, let the lust of our eyes and heart and the evil desires of our flesh nature be cast aside and gone in Jesus' name. Amen.

Matthew 16:21

We all mature in stages.
As we mature, we are entrusted with greater knowledge.
But revelation is given to those who constantly seek God's Will for their live's.

In this case, Jesus' disciples had been following Him & learning from Him what their Heavenly Father desired for them.

"GOD HAD A PLAN!"
Jesus' disciples were learning about this plan.
As they grew in their knowledge of God's plan, Jesus strategically exposed them to greater revelation.
Because the world would benefit from them for ages to come.

"WE LEARN IN STAGES!"
"NOT BECAUSE GOD WANTS TO HOLD ANYTHING GOOD BACK FROM US!"
"BUT BECAUSE HE DESIRES THAT WE BENEFIT FROM THIS KNOWLEDGE!"
"THEREFORE, HE WAITS FOR AN OPPORTUNE MOMENT IN WHICH WE ARE ABLE TO TRULY COMPREHEND HIS REVELATION!"

"WHATEVER GOD REVEALS THROUGH HIS WORD OR CIRCUMSTANCE, HE DOES IT WITH THE INTENDED PURPOSE OF BENEFITTING THE WHOLE BODY OF CHRIST!"

When we submit our will to His plans, He will even use our death to bring life to another.

Many times we get too busy in life!
We find ourselves focusing on everything, but what truly matters.
Our live's don't always seem to be going in the direction we desire.
We feel incomplete!
We yearn for something more!
We find ourselves discouraged & disoriented!

"WHEN WE FOUND OURSELVES IN THE LOWEST OF VALLEYS, GOD WAS IN THE MIDST!"

"GOD IS ALWAYS IN THE MIDST!"
