Psalm 41: 9

"Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who shared my bread, has turned against me."
~ (Psalm 41: 9)

This life is so full of disappointment and placing others on a pedestal, trusting completely in them sets us up for that disappointment. Father, may we not place people so high up, that we lose sight of You, for like us, they aren't perfect. Amen.
