Praise the Lord!

Psalm 117:1-2

"Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol Him, all you peoples.

For great is His love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

"WE WERE MADE TO PRAISE THE LORD!"

"FOR EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE, HE IS WORTHY!"

"FOR EVERYTHING HE IS DOING, HE IS WORTHY!"

"FOR EVERYTHING HE IS ABOUT TO DO, HE IS WORTHY!"

"THE LORD IS WORTHY BECAUSE OF WHO HE IS!"

"HE IS A LOVING FATHER!"

"A CONCERNED FRIEND!"

"A ENCOURAGING NEIGHBOR!"

"THE LORD IS OUR GREAT SHEPHERD!"

"WE HAVE NEED OF NOTHING!"

"FOR IN HIM, OUR NEEDS ARE MET, OUR FEARFUL THOUGHTS ARE SILENCED & OUR STORMS ARE CALMED!"

"HE IS OUR GREAT SHEPHERD!"

"WE NEED HIM MORE THAN OUR NATURAL MINDS COULD EVER IMAGINE!"

"IT IS WHEN WE REALIZE OUR ABSOLUTE HELPLESSNESS TO CONTROL OUR CIRCUMSTANCES, THAT WE LEARN TO APPRECIATE HIS ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY & FAITHFULNESS IN OUR LIVE'S!"

"THE LORD HAS BEEN VERY GOOD TO US & HE WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO FOR ETERNITY BECAUSE THAT IS HIS NATURE!"

"THE LORD IS GOOD & HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!"

Psalm 121: 1-2

"I raise my eyes toward the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." ~ (Psalm 121: 1-2)

 

 

 

Great, glorious, and almighty God, we trust in Your protection above all else. Lord, keep us from undue harm. Amen.

Invite Jesus In Today!

John 14:27

"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful."

"THE LORD HAS NEVER ABANDONED ANYONE WHO SEARCHES FOR HIM WITH THEIR WHOLE HEART!"

On the contrary;

"HE IS FOUND BY THEM!"

"HE IS EMBRACED BY THEM!"

"HE MAKES HIS PRESENCE KNOWN TO THEM!"

"THE LORD IS VERY NEAR TO THOSE WHO SEEK HIM!"

"THEREFORE, SEEK HIM WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND!"

"TODAY IS THE DAY WHEN JESUS WANTS TO SPEND TIME WITH YOU!"

"JESUS IS NOT AN EVENT WE ATTEND!"

"HE IS A REAL PERSON WE RELATE TO!"

"EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE FOR US HAS BEEN FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF SHARING IN FELLOWSHIP WITH US!"

"HIS DEATH RESTORED US!"

"HIS LOVE UNITED US!"

"HIS PEACE ASSURED US!"

"THEREFORE, HIS FRIENDSHIP SHOULD BE CELEBRATED & CHERISHED DURING THIS LIFETIME & ETERNALLY!"

Sonship!

Joshua 18:1-3

"Then the whole congregation of the sons of Israel assembled themselves at Shiloh, and set up the tent of meeting there; and the land was subdued before them.

There remained among the sons of Israel seven tribes who had not divided their inheritance. So Joshua said to the sons of Israel, “How long will you put off entering to take possession of the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you."

"HOW LONG WILL YOU PUT OFF?"

Here, the Israelites had already taken possession of the land God had given them.

They had all the right to divide it up & enjoy their God-Given Gift.

But they didn't know what to do with it.

These tribes were at a stand still.

They had obtained the Promised Land, but failed to make use of it's benefits.

The Land was their's, but they could not make use of it.

Then, Joshua posed the question;

"HOW LONG WILL YOU PUT OFF?"

This question brought things into perspective.

They realized that they had already gained what they had been waiting for their whole live's.

More importantly, they figured out that it had been their's all along & that they could have been enjoying it since the day they took possession of it!

Now I ask you:

"HOW LONG WILL YOU PUT OFF?"

When you invited Jesus into your heart, you gained an Eternal Kingdom!

All of it benefits are at your disposal!

You only need to recognize your gift & utilize it!

"WE ARE CALLED TO ETERNAL BLESSINGS, IN ORDER TO BLESS THE NATIONS!"

"WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RIGHT TO SONSHIP, IN ORDER FOR US TO FELLOWSHIP!"

"GOD WANTS TO USE US TO LEAD THE NATIONS TO HIM!"

"RECOGNIZE YOUR POTENTIAL & EXERCISE YOUR SONSHIP!"

Acts 17: 27

"He did this so they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find Him, though He is not far off from each of us." ~ (Acts 17: 27)

Lord, we seek a level of the awareness of Your presence so heightened in out lives that it removes self awareness, so as to greatly impact the way we live, in Jesus' Names. Amen.

Luke 12: 39

"But know this: if the homeowner had been aware of what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into." ~ (Luke 12: 39)

"WE DO THIS BY SHARING THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!"

"BUT NOT JUST WITH OUR WORDS!"

"WE ALSO DO THIS WITH OUR ACTIONS!!!"

Tell the World!

John 3:16-17

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him."

"EVERYONE DESERVES A CHANCE TO HEAR THE GOSPEL!"

We, as the redeemed of God, are called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world.

Why?

Because God's mission is to advance His Kingdom through the proclamation of the Gospel & His redeemed people are the vessels He has chosen to use for this very purpose.

"WE HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO HUMANITY BECAUSE WE HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO GOD!"

"WE ARE HIS AMBASSADORS!"

"THE WORLD NEEDS JESUS!"

"BUT THEY WILL NEVER KNOW THIS UNTIL WE TELL THEM!"

"EVERYONE DESERVES A CHANCE TO HEAR THE GOSPEL!"

"THE GIFT OF SALVATION IS MEANT TO BE SHARED FREELY!"

"THEREFORE, LET'S GET OUT THERE & TELL THE WORLD ABOUT JESUS!"

Joshua 1: 9

"WE WERE CALLED TO REACH THE NATIONS!"

"WE WERE CHOSEN TO DISCIPLE THE NATIONS!"

"WE ARE GOD'S CHOSEN VESSELS!"

"THEREFORE, LET US SET ASIDE ANYTHING THAT WOULD KEEP US FROM DOING WHAT WE WERE CREATED FOR!"

"LET US PRESS ON!"

"ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!"

Deuteronomy 31: 8

"The Lord is the One who will go before you. He will be with you; He will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged." ~ (Deuteronomy 31: 8)

A Good Name!

Colossians 4:7-9

"As to all my affairs, Tychicus, our beloved brother and faithful servant and fellow bond-servant in the Lord, will bring you information. For I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts; and with him Onesimus, our faithful and beloved brother, who is one of your number. They will inform you about the whole situation here."

The Bible speaks of desiring a "GOOD NAME".

Here, Paul was entrusting 2 fellow-laborers of the Gospel with the mission of encouraging the hearts of the saints at Colossae.

They were entrusted because their reputations preceded them.

They had devoted themselves to the mission of spreading the Gospel.

They had dedicated their live's to the Lord Jesus Christ.

It had become so evident to Paul & all the church members at Colossae that Paul felt confident enough to believe that the church would accept Tychicus & Onesimus as they would Paul himself.

"Paul believed that the Colossians would receive these 2 men as they would Paul."

This statement says a lot about their character & devotion to the Gospel!

HOW ABOUT YOU?

WHAT DOES YOUR LIFE PROCLAIM TO THOSE AROUND YOU?

HOW ARE YOU PERCEIVED BY OTHERS?

DO YOU HAVE A REPUTATION FOR HOLDING A GOOD NAME?

DO PEOPLE THINK OF JESUS WHEN THEY THINK OF YOU?

ARE YOU SETTING THE BEST EXAMPLE POSSIBLE?

I will be the first to say that;

"IN MY LIFE, THERE IS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT!!!"

This is my prayer today;

"LORD, HELP ME GAIN A GOOD NAME!"

"NOT FOR ME TO HAVE A GOOD REPUTATION!"

"BUT FOR IT TO BE EASIER FOR OTHERS TO ACCEPT THE INFORMATION I SHARE ABOUT YOU!"

Jeremiah 8: 7 AWARE

"Even the stork in the sky knows her seasons. The turtledove, swallow, and crane are aware of their migration, but My people do not know the requirements of the Lord." ~ (Jeremiah 8: 7)

 

 

 

AWARE - 1. knowing that something exists. 2. feeling, experiencing, or noticing something.

His Love!

John 13:35

We are 'here' to "BE HERE FOR EACH OTHER!"

If in time of need, we close our ears to the cry of another;

"OUR FAITH IS FALTERED!"

Jesus made it very clear when He said;

"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

"LOVE CALLS US TO ACTION!"

"IT DOES NOT STAND IDLELY BY, WHILE SOMEONE ELSE IS IN DESPERATE NEED!"

"WHETHER IT BE A PERSON DEALING WITH ANGER ISSUES OR SOME KIND OF ADDICTION!"

"WHETHER DEPRESSION BE THE CASE OR LOW SELF ESTEEM!"

"WHETHER LONELINESS OR FINANCIAL STRUGGLE!"

Whatever the case may be, the Word of God makes it very clear;

"WE ARE TO BARE ONE ANOTHER'S BURDENS!"

"WE CAN NOT SAY WE HAVE THE LOVE OF CHRIST IN US, YET IGNORE THE PAIN OF OUR FELLOW MAN!"

"THAT IS A PERSON FOR WHOM CHRIST DIED & IT IS OUR MISSION TO SHARE THE LOVE OF CHRIST WITH THEM!"

IS THIS NOT WHY CHRIST HAS SET US FREE?

"I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT ANYONE WHO HAS TRULY EXPERIENCED THE LOVE OF CHRIST COULD KEEP THAT LOVE CONTAINED WITHIN THEMSELVES!"

"JESUS' LOVE IS SOOOOO GREAT THAT IT WILL OVERFLOW FROM THE HEART IT ABIDES IN!"

"NO ONE CAN CONTAIN HIS LOVE WITHIN THEMSELVES!"

"THEY WILL BE COMPELLED TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS IN WHATEVER FORM, FASHION OR OPPORTUNITY THAT PRESENTS ITSELF!"

Matthew 28: 20

"And remember I am with you always, even to the end of the age." ~ (Matthew 28: 20)

 

 

 

Father, help us to become more aware of Your presence in our lives at all times. Amen.

First Impressions!

Colossians 4:5-6

"Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person."

"FIRST IMPRESSIONS MAY BE THE ONLY CHANCE YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE GOSPEL KNOWN TO A LOST SOUL!"

"THEREFORE, BE WISE WHEN YOU ARE AT THE STORE!"

"WHEN YOU'RE IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT!"

"EVEN WHEN YOU A STRANGER PASSES YOU BY!"

"MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY OPPORTUNITY!"

"THIS WORLD NEEDS YOU MORE THAN IT KNOWS!"
