It Is Finished!

John 19:28-30
"Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips. When He had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, He bowed His head and gave up His spirit."

"IT IS FINISHED!"

For us Christians, this should take on a whole new meaning when we truly experience His presence!

When we are in the midst of afflictions, "IT IS FINISHED!"
When we are in the midst of trials, "IT IS FINISHED!"
When we are in a tough situation, "IT IS FINISHED!"
When our relationships are not going well, "IT IS FINISHED!"
When we don't have any income, "IT IS FINISHED!"
When we are betrayed, "IT IS FINISHED!"
When we fall short, "IT IS FINISHED!"
When we are hated, when we are misused,  "IT IS FINISHED!"
When we can't seem to see the end at hand, "IT IS FINISHED!"

"IT IS FINISHED!"

When Jesus made this statement:
"HE CLAIMED ALL OF OUR INFIRMITIES!"
"ALL OF OUR SICKNESSES!"
"ALL OF OUR ISSUES!"

Above all:
"ALL OF OUR SINS!"

"GOD IS WITH US IN ALL OF OUR CIRCUMSTANCES!"
"TO SEE US THROUGH THEM ALL!"
"BECAUSE JESUS IS ALREADY WAITING ON THE OTHER SIDE!"

"WHY?"
"BECAUSE, IT IS FINISHED!"
"TAKE HIM AT HIS WORD!"
