Acts 26: 24

Job's Faith!

Job 16:19
“Even now, behold, my witness is in heaven,
And my advocate is on high."

The Bible speaks very highly of Job's faith.
It asserts that he was a righteous man.
It encourges us to have faith like Job.

So what was so special about Job's faith?
What was it about his faith that gave him the strength to go on in the midst of horrible circumstances?

"HE SOUGHT HIS HELP FROM ON HIGH!"
"HE TRUSTED IN GOD FOR A BETTER TOMORROW!"
"HE NEVER LOST SIGHT OF THE TRUTH THAT GOD WAS IN FULL CONTROL!"

Moreover;
"HE UNDERSTOOD THAT GOD WAS FOR HIM, NOT AGAINST HIM!"
"EVEN THOUGH HE COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY GOD WOULD NOT INTERVENE SOONER, HE TRUSTED GOD FOR HIS OUTCOME!"

"JOB'S FAITH WAS FIRMLY ROOTED IN GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY"

We might want to bypass the necessary lessons that will carry us through safely just to enjoy a brief moment of serenity.

But the best lessons we can ever learn are the ones that we experience firsthand.

Lord, help us to view those who are ignorant of what we know as You do, to not be arrogant, and to always seek to spread Your message in love. Amen.

Being Led!

Luke 23:18-25

"But they cried out all together, saying, “Away with this man, and release for us Barabbas!” (He was one who had been thrown into prison for an insurrection made in the city, and for murder.) Pilate, wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again, but they kept on calling out, saying, “Crucify, crucify Him!” And he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has this man done? I have found in Him no guilt demanding death; therefore I will punish Him and release Him.” But they were insistent, with loud voices asking that He be crucified. And their voices began to prevail. Thanks be to Jesus for true knowledge. We long for the day the law will no longer be needed, but thank You for it and its servants, especially those in the Dallas PD. Amen.

I pray that you will also be encouraged by the same!

I would also pray that you protect yourself from being the one who is doing the persecution!

God has called us to be different.

He has called us to imitate His Son, Jesus.

He has "not" called us to imitate the world.

When we try to resemble the world, as Christians, we loose our identity as sons & daughters of God.

The world must be able to distinguish a difference in us, else, we will never be able to make a difference in their live's!

Hold them back!

Proverbs 24:11

There are people around us who need to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!"

They need to recognize their spiritual condition.

They need to understand their need for a Savior.

They need to experience their helplessness to atone for their sins.

They need the redemption that only Jesus can offer!

Some of the people are around you at work, at school, the grocery store & even the pew you sit on at Sunday morning service.

"COMPLETING IT IS ALL THAT MATTERS!"

"THE GREATEST LOVE WE CAN SHARE WITH SOMEONE IS THAT OF CHRIST!"

Job 27: 5 INTEGRITY

"I will never admit you are in the right; till I die, I will not deny my integrity." ~ (Job 27: 5)

INTEGRITY - firm adherence to a code of especially moral values; incorruptibility.

Proverbs 11: 3

"The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them." ~ (Proverbs 11: 3)

In a society where integrity has all but been done away with, thanks be to Jesus for our example. Amen.

Redeem the time!
