I have lived the last few years in service to the Lord.

I say this, not to pat myself on the shoulder.

But as a reminder to myself.

And as a testimony to the world of;

"HE IS A MIRACLE WORKING GOD!"

"A LIFE TRANSFORMING GOD!"

"A FORGIVING GOD!"

"A GENEROUS GOD!"

In fact, I want to declare to the world that:

"THERE IS NO OTHER GOD EXCEPT THE ONE WHOM I SERVE!"

"THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO HIM BUT THROUGH HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST!"

"THERE IS NO OTHER!!!"

"THERE IS NO OTHER!!!"

"GOD SENT HIS SON INTO THIS WORLD!"

"TO DIE FOR THE SINS OF THIS WORLD!"

"HE ROSE VICTORIOUSLY FROM THE DEAD THE THIRD DAY!"

"NOW HE OFFERS FORGIVENESS & ETERNAL LIFE TO THOSE WHO PLACE THEIR FAITH IN HIS NAME!"

I placed my trust solely in Jesus for salvation a few years ago.

My life has never been the same!!!

I have no regrets, only fulness of joy!!!

I have no complaints, only gratitude!!!

My life belongs to the Lord!!!

I will tell the world of His greatness as long as I have breath!!!

Thank You, Lord.

That salvation is free to all who will accept it by faith!!!

Galatians 2: 20

We look back on the former Lord; not to produce shame or even to reminisce, but to praise You for our rebirth in Your Son, our Lord, Jesus! Amen.

Mission-Minded!

Matthew 28:16-20

"But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Jesus, I just want to lift up our missionaries to You.

I pray that You would protect them.

I pray that You would strengthen & encourage them.

I pray for favor in their areas of ministry.

I pray Your abundant life be poured out upon those countries.

As they share the Gospel, give them Your words to speak!

As they minister to the lost & hurting, give them Your heart to care!

FILL THEM!

BLESS THEM!

EMPOWER THEM!

THEY NEED YOU!

THE WORLD NEEDS THEM!

THANK YOU, LORD, FOR THOSE WHO DARE TO LAY DOWN THEIR LIVE'S FOR THE SAKE OF THE UNREACHED!

But we who are here,

Comfortable at home,

May we not rest, but instead reach the lost in our communities!

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? ’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from ME, you who practice lawlessness."

I know this sounds simple enough, even foolish to state.

But the truth is that:

"WHEN SOMEONE IS DECEIVED, THEY FAILED TO RECOGNIZE THE LIE WHICH HOLDS THEM CAPTIVE!"

"THE LIE THAT HAS BLINDED THEM THROUGHOUT THEIR LIFETIME REMAINS THE BLANKET WITH WHICH THEY COVER THEMSELVES!"

"THAT LIE HAS BECOME TRUTH TO THEM!"

"BECAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT DECEIT DOES!"

"IT GIVES A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY & DISGUISES ITSELF AS A SAVIOR!"

"I go to church, so God has to let me into heaven..."

"I say my 790+ prayers daily, so God has to open the gates..."

"I tell people stories about the Bible, so God has to give me a merit badge..."

"I helped feed the homeless last year, so God owes me an eternal favor..."

"I give of my money, my time, my talents to church productions, so God owes me BIG..."

"BELIEFS ARE NOT ALWAYS VERBALIZED!"

"IN MOST CASES, OUR ACTIONS ARE THE INCARNATION OF OUR CORE BELIEFS!"

In other words;

"WE LIVE IN ACCORDANCE TO OUR CORE BELIEFS, NOT WHAT WE PROFESS TO BELIEVE!"

This is what Jesus was saying.

"LET US EXAMINE OUR HEARTS, LET US EXAMINE OUR MOTIVES!"

"JESUS KNOWS THE TRUTH BEHIND OUR ACTIONS!"

Allow Jesus to be "LORD" & not merely "REFEREE" in your life!

"HIS JOB IS TO REIGN OVER US AS LORD!"

"OUR JOB IS TO SUBMIT TO HIS LORDSHIP!"

"JESUS REIGNS!!!"

Isaiah 26: 3

Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?

And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?

And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,

yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

Matthew 3:13-17

"Then Jesus *arrived from Galilee at the Jordan coming to John, to be baptized by him. But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” But Jesus answering said to him, “Permit it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he *permitted Him. After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “ This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well- pleased."

This marks the beginning of Jesus' preparation for ministry.

But I want you to notice something.

Something that many times is overlooked in life & ministry.

"JESUS KNEW WHO HE WAS!"

"HE KNEW WHERE HE CAME FROM!"

"HE KNEW THE PRIVILEGE OF BEING THE SON OF GOD!"

"HE KNEW HIS PURPOSE HERE ON EARTH!"

"BUT HE NEVER ONCE ALLOWED THAT KNOWLEDGE TO AFFECT HIM!"

"HE NEVER ONCE TRIED TO USE IT AS LEVERAGE!"

"HE NEVER ONCE TRIED TO BE ABOVE THE LAW OF HIS DAY!"

"HE WAS COMPLETELY SUBMISSIVE TO THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVICE TO GOD, EVEN THOUGH HE WAS GOD!"

"HE DECIDED TO BEGIN HIS MINISTRY WITH A DISPLAY OF OBEDIENCE & SUBMISSION!"

"NOT WITH A 3 POINT SERMON!"

"HE UNDERSTOOD THAT IT WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO SHOW THE PEOPLE, INSTEAD OF TELLING THE PEOPLE!"

In other words;

"JESUS LED BY EXAMPLE!"

"HE DIDN'T THINK OF ANY TASK TO BE BENEATH HIM!"

"BUT SAW EVERY TASK AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLAY SERVICE TO HIS HEAVENLY FATHER!"

Question of the Day:

"HOW DO YOU VIEW AUTHORITY?"

"DO YOU THINK YOURSELF ABOVE IT?"

"DO YOU PLACE YOURSELF IN JUDGMENT OF IT?"

"DO YOU COME ALONG SIDE IT FOR PERSONAL GAIN?"

"OR DO YOU SUBMIT KNOWING THAT GOD IS ULTIMATELY THE ONE TO WHOM YOU SURRENDER?"

"JESUS SUBMITTED BECAUSE HE WAS ULTIMATELY SURRENDERED TO HIS HEAVENLY FATHER'S WILL!"

John 5: 6
