Father, thank You for placing Haman's story in the Bible for us to see the type of honor we shouldn't seek. Amen.

Refuge!

Question:
If you are crossing the street & suddenly see a car headed in your direction,
Are you going to hope that you don't get hit?
Or are you going to take the initiative of moving out the way?

If this has occurred in your lifetime & you are reading this passage today,
More than likely, you took the initiative to move out the way.
Or you probably would not be around to be reading this!

Romans 8:35-36

"THOUGH WE SEEK LIFE, DEATH IS OUR EXPECTED OUTCOME!"

Daily, we seek to live a life that is pleasing to God.
Daily, we accomplish this by living in the Spirit by faith.
Daily, we put to death the desires of the flesh that swell up in us.

We remain at a Stand-Still when we put each other down.
We loose our luster when we fail to honor God.
Jesus is the example.
Him, we must follow.
He sacrificed it all for us.

Romans 2: 7 PERSIST

PERSIST - 1. to go on resolutely or stubbornly in spite of opposition or warning. 2. to remain unchanged or fixed in a specified character, position, or condition. 3. to be insistent upon.

Divine Protection!

Psalm 89:21-23
"My hand will sustain him; surely My arm will strengthen him. The enemy will not get the better of him; the wicked will not oppress him. I will crush his foes before him and strike down his adversaries."

These are promises for God's true people, not side-liners.
Sitting on the bench or leaning against the fence places a person at risk.
If you desire to be on the team, then you must step up to the plate.
Whether it be a Home-Run, a Triple, a Double, a Single or even an Out.
"YOU MUST STEP UP TO THE PLATE!"

"FAITH REQUIRES US TO MOVE!"

Therefore, we no longer need to walk in fear!

Fear only has one destination & it is a road too often traveled!
Its destination is: "FAILURE!"

Knowledge vs. Application!

"You study, (search), the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about Me, yet you refuse to come to Me to have life."

“KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT APPLICATION HAS NO IMPLICATION OF CONVICTION!"

If we are not applying what we are learning, then there is no power behind what we are doing!
Our passion should be the driving force for sharing the Gospel with others!

"OUR COMMITMENT TO GOD’S KINGDOM REQUIRES KNOWLEDGE APPLIED, NOT SOMETHING WE HAVE READ!”

Supplying someone with knowledge does not necessarily mean that they will apply it to their life!

Father, in Your infinite wisdom, You created man and woman with distinct natures. We give You thanks and praise for the moms, grandmothers, and wives that enhance our lives and ask You to bless each of their lives, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Isaiah 49: 15

"Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the children she has born? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you!" ~ (Isaiah 49: 15)

We praise You and we thank You this week for one of Your finest creations: woman. Thank You Lord, for our mothers and grandmothers and the tender spirit and delicate nature You've designed them with. Amen.

Luke 9:22

There is so much that can be said about Jesus!
But I'm pretty sure that it is not the "Father's Will" that we merely talk about Him!
Jesus did not die just so that we could have something to talk about!
Neither did He rise from the dead to leave us in amazement!
The life of Jesus was not meant to entertain us, but to open our eyes to the truth & to set us free!

SIN has separated humanity from its Creator!
JESUS came & suffered the penalty of sin in order to restore humanity!
JESUS rose from the dead to secure humanity's eternal relationship!

"BUT THE CHOICE IS YOURS!"
"BUT THE CHOICE IS MINE!"

"GOD DOES NOT SEND PEOPLE TO HELL!"
"HE PERMITS THEM TO CHOOSE THEIR OWN ETERNAL DESTINY!"

So what is it going to be?
"THE CHOICE IS YOURS!"
"THE CHOICE IS MINE!"

"WE WHO HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS AS OUR LORD & SAVIOR, HAVE INHERITED A DUTY IN GOD'S ETERNAL KINGDOM!"
"IT IS NOT TO SIT AROUND THE COFFEE TABLE CHATTING ABOUT JESUS!"
"IT IS TO GO OUT & SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH ALL CREATION!"

Therefore, GO!
"DON'T REMAIN ON THE SIDELINES ANY LONGER!"
"FULFILL THE CALLING FOR WHICH YOU WERE SAVED!"

DO NOT BE AFRAID

...with the world so rapidly changing what does the Holy Word of God speak to us? Watch out no one deceives you...many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other...If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.'"This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people: “Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it...The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Thank you Lord for Your Word that comforts us, gives us strength for the day, and increases our faith and obedience that go hand in hand. Keep us Lord. Amen. 

Do not see things the way the world see's them. Instead of looking through the eyes of the world use spiritual discernment to see through God's eyes. Don't you know these things have to happen before the return of The Lord? Keep your eyes fixed upon Jesus and the coming Glory. Amen.
