JESUS IS LORD! THIS WE KNOW! THIS WE CAN ATTEST TO! BUT WHO WILL WE TELL! Jesus answered this question some 2,000 plus years ago... "GO INTO ALL THE WORLD & PREACH THE GOSPEL!"

1 Timothy 2:1-4 "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." "GOD IS CONCERNED FOR EVERYONE'S WELL-BEING!" "MEN, IF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH A TOUGH SITUATION, BRING IT TO GOD IN PRAYER & WATCH HIM GO TO WORK!"

1 Timothy 1:15 "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst. ALTHOUGH CHRIST MAY NOT BE EXPECTING US TO CONFESS THAT 'WE ARE THE WORST SINNER', HE IS EXPECTING US TO APPROACH HIM WITH 'SOBERING THOUGHTS ABOUT OURSELVES'. "THIS IN TURN, WILL AFFECT THE ATTITUDE OF OUR APPROACH TOWARD OTHERS WHEN WE PRESENT CHRIST INTO THEIR LIVE'S!" "IF WE MAKE THEM FEEL AT HOME, EVENTUALLY THEY WILL STAY!"

Two Must Have Phrases.

#1. Help Me Jesus.

#2. Thank You Jesus.



Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Your 'SITUATION' may not agree with this Verse! Nor will your 'CHAIN OF THOUGHTS' while you are going through the struggles! At times, even your 'FAITH' will fail you! But the fact still remains; "GOD'S WORD REMAINS TRUE!" The thing that we as imperfect creatures, often fail to realize is that: "WITH OR WITHOUT OUR FAITH, GOD'S WORD STILL REMAINS POWERFUL & EFFECTIVE THROUGH OUR WEAKNESSES!"

Philippians 3:10-11 "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead." "I WANT TO KNOW CHRIST!"

Philippians 2:20-21 "I have no one else like him, who will show genuine concern for your welfare. For everyone looks out for their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ." TRUE MEN & WOMEN OF GOD ARE VERY RARE TO FIND, BEING A CHURCH-GOER DOES NOT CONSTITUTE ONE, GIVING YOUR MONEY OR TIME DOESN'T EITHER, THE THING THAT DEFINES A TRUE MAN OR WOMAN OF GOD IS: "UPHOLDING THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS WHEN NO ONE ELSE WILL!" "It is said that there is 'A FINE LINE' between Righteousness & Unrighteousness, but the Truth is: That it is 'A SOLID WALL' which the TRUE MEN & WOMEN OF GOD DARE NOT CLIMB!!!" "FINE LINES GET BLURRY, BRICK WALLS DON'T!!!" "DO NOT COMPROMISE & YOU WILL NOT FALL!!!"

YOU ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS YOUR LEADER!!! THEREFORE, PRAY FOR YOUR LEADERSHIP!!! "THEN, TRUST GOD, TO GUIDE THEM AS THEY GUIDE YOU!!!"

Love God, Love People

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them ~ 1 Timothy 2:1 ~ 

 

God wants us to care enough about people to pray for them, not just some people, but all people. If you know someone, or know of someone, that needs help beyond what you can give, take the time to ask God to help them, He listens to our prayers, especially prayers for others. If you don't know how or what to pray, that's OK. God knows their needs, the important part is that we care enough to pray. If you don't know what to say, say this, "God, I want to pray for this person but I don't know what to say" God will either give you words or He will simply hear your heartbeat, but either way He's got it covered. So if you truly love God...take the time to love people, give thanks & pray for them.

Philippians 1:20-21 "I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." "MAY GOD GRANT US ALL SUFFICIENT STRENGTH TO LIVE A LIFE WORTHY OF OUR CALLING!"

Experiencing Grace

Faith occupies the position of a channel or conduit pipe. Grace is the fountain and the stream; faith is the aqueduct along which the flood of mercy flows down to refresh the thirsty sons of men. It is a great pity when the aqueduct is broken. It is a sad sight to see around Rome the many noble aqueducts which no longer convey water into the city, because the arches are broken and the marvelous structures are in ruins. The aqueduct must be kept entire to convey the current; and, even so, faith must be true and sound, leading right up to God and coming right down to ourselves, that it may become a serviceable channel of mercy to our souls.

Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." DID YOU CATCH THAT? YOU WERE CREATED TO DO GOOD WORKS! THEREFORE, CHANGE YOUR PRAYER FOCUS from; "I NEED THIS..." or "I WANT THAT" to; "HOW CAN I BETTER SERVE YOUR KINGDOM, LORD?" (JESUS CHRIST ALREADY WALKED THE EARTH FOR US, NOW WE MUST DO THE SAME FOR HIM!)

Audit - Who do you owe?

Hey Guys, I am praying for conviction concerning debt this week as part of the It is Written course and as I was praying today the Lord convicted me of something.  Let me share. (this one hurt a little)

'IT IS WRITTEN...When a man or woman wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the LORD, that person is guilty ~ Numbers 5:6 ~

IT IS WRITTEN...When a man makes a vow to the LORD or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said. ~ Numbers 30:2 ~

IT IS WRITTEN...Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong...Do not be quick with your mouth,  let your words be few...It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfill it....Do not let your mouth lead you into sin. ~ Ecclesiastes 5:2-7 ~

IT IS WRITTEN...if you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth, then do this, my son, to free yourself, since you have fallen into your neighbor’s hands: Go and humble yourself; press your plea with your neighbor!  Allow no sleep to your eyes, no slumber to your eyelids. Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler ~ Proverbs 6:2:5 ~

IT IS WRITTEN...Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. ~ Romans 13:8 ~

Here is what God showed me...Debt is much more than monetary or just money. We can can have many forms of debt. An obligation is a debt. So do not be quick to tell someone you will do this or do that, or I will be here or there. Even if you are late to anything you committed to being there at a certain time, it is SIN.

(and no I did not do this on purpose to get you to be on time for class, however, if it works...lol)

So do not say I will do this or that or make commitments lightly but rather out of fear of the Lord say, IT IS WRITTEN...“If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins. ~ James 4:15-17 ~

Now, go back and read them again, look for the commands that require action, and ask the Lord to convict you of any sin you may have in your life in this area of commitments, then confess, repent, and speak and live God's commands to have victory over temptation concerning debt.  

And remember, why should we expect God to speak to us if we are not engaged in a private conversation with Him.

(Make time for private prayer)

 May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you always and to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people, and His incomparably great power for us who believe."

Ephesians 1:2 "Grace and Peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." Enjoy your day "Mighty Men Of God". Remember, No matter how the day may unravel, LET GOD'S GRACE & PEACE REIGN IN YOUR HEARTS!

The only way possible to live a life worthy of the calling you have received in Christ Jesus, is in Jesus Christ. A Milwaukeen...lives in Milwaukee, A Texan...lives in Texas, A Sinner...Lives in Sin, A Christian...LIVES IN CHRIST! Make Christ your dwelling place, not a vacation home. Psalm 91:1-2 tells is "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Galatians 5:6 "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love." OUTWARD APPEARANCES DO NOT MOVE THE HEAVENS! The fact that the physical realm can not manipulate the spiritual realm still remains "TRUE"... FAITH COMES FROM THE SPIRIT OF MAN! Therefore, a person's "FAITH" is the only part of man that can reach the Heaven's. THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS IS: "FAITH EXPRESSING ITSELF THROUGH LOVE!!!"

Galatians 4:28 "Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise."

 

Just like Isaac, GOD HAS PLACED IN EACH OF US GREAT POTENTIAL! But it is only when we SEPARATE ourselves daily with God, that God can reveal His Plans for our lives. "CHILDREN OF PROMISE = CHILDREN WITH POTENTIAL!" "APPLY YOUR POTENTIAL & YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR PURPOSE!" "GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO SOMETHING GREAT!"

Colossians 4:2-6 "DEVOTE YOURSELF TO PRAYER, BEING WATCHFUL & THANKFUL. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

Colossians 3:15 "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." REMINDER: ONE OF OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHT'S AS CHILDREN OF GOD IS "PEACE". THEREFORE, DON'T BE TOO HASTY WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A TOUGH SITUATION & YOU FEEL THE WEIGHT OF LIFE! "REMEMBER, GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN US THE VICTORY OVER OUR CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!"

Jesus Is Lord!!!

To have victory over sin we must call Sin it's worst possible name

If you act in hatred towards someone confess to the Lord "Lord, I murdered that person" If you gave in to lust 5 times today say "Lord, I am filthy, I committed adultery today with 5 different women" When we water down our sin by calling it something else, we remain in it. If you call hatred 'righteous indignation' for example instead of murder, you will remain in it.

 Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. ~ James 4:9 ~

Yes, there will be those that say "you are forgiven, it's not right to live with a cloud over your head' Those people have much to be concerned about. Titus 1:15-17 tells us "To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good, but as for you, communicate behaviour that goes along with sound teaching"

When you sin confess it immediately, and repent, and the laughter you turn to mourning, the Lord will then turn to joy.

I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. ~ John 16:20-24 ~

Deuteronomy 8:5 Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.

Kimyal Tribe Receives the written Word in their own languge for the First Time

It is Written

A new course has been created that uses the Bible to teach how to use the Word of God as a 'Sword of the Spirit' against temptation to sin. In this course men will spend time in the word, prayer, confession, examining themselves, repentance, and memorizing scripture.
