THE BEST PERSPECTIVE
For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:12 ~
Sometimes when people talk about heaven, they assert that we will only remember the good things on Earth and not the bad things. They reason that if you remember the bad things, then heaven won't be heaven. This belief is usually based on Revelation 21:4: "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." But this statement is actually describing what happens after heaven comes to Earth.
So will we remember in heaven? Yes. Will we remember happy times in heaven? Yes. Will we remember sad things, or will we be aware of sad things? I think we will be aware of all things that we need to know.
For example, Revelation 6 speaks of those who have been martyred for their faith—tribulation martyrs. These are mere mortals, not angelic beings. They are people who have died for their faith in Christ. And in heaven, this is what they say to God: "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" (Revelation 6:10).
These people are aware of the injustice that was done to them. They are aware of the fact that they were on Earth. They are even aware of the passing of time on Earth, asking, "How long, O Lord. . . ?"
Before we start thinking that heaven won't be heaven, we need to remember that our minds will be in a perfected state. The big difference is that we will have perspective in heaven. And perspective changes everything, you see.
In heaven, I think we will be able to look at things from an eternal perspective—from God's viewpoint. And with that, we will be able to honor and worship Him. ~ Pastor Greg Laurie ~

What's up Dawg - Just slang or ungodly?
Dog or "Dawg" is a common expression today for greeting one another, but is it simply a term of endearment or is it ungodly? Yes, words take on new meanings, and yes, the enemy uses every tactic possible. So you decide. Paul calls the false apostles "dogs" (Philippians 3:2) Those who are shut out of the kingdom of heaven are also designated (Revelations 22:15) Persecutors are also called "dogs" (Psalms 22;16) Is it a coincidence that a couple of the definitions for dog in today's dictionary are "a despicable man or youth" & "something undesirable or worthless; merchandise that no one wants to buy. : Put the dogs out on the sale table so people will see them" I don't know about you but I think I'll stick with Saint or Brethren.

Obedience & Commitments
...If a person thoughtlessly takes an oath to do anything, whether good or evil--in any matter one might carelessly swear about--even though he is unaware of it, in any case when he learns of it he will be guilty. ~ Leviticus 4:5 ~
Ever thoughtlessly responded to someone asking you to do something by giving one of these answers..."yeah, sure, whatever, no problem" and then later remembered that you agreed to it but it was to late to fulfill your commitment? Even if our intentions are for good, if we make a commitment and break it, it is sin. God wants us to keep our promises, so He tells us in His Word, think carefully before you agree to anything! And when you do make a commitment, keep it! What commitments have you made lately that you regret & need to confess? Complete them or go to God & that person and confess that you cannot, but either way, make it right. Write a comment to your past or present failures and successes in this area and helpful advice for others.

B. By sin this design has been thwarted. man seeks himself and his own will
Prayer: Lord, when shall we learn that with lowliness is the grace by which man can be most closely conformed to the divine glory? O' lord, teach me this - Amen

Based on Isaiah 6
I am ruined
who can save?
Then I saw the Lord
seated on His throne
confessed my sins
to Jesus alone
Seraphim flew
coal in his hand
he touched my lips
atonement the plan
No more sacrifice needed
no ram, goat or bull
smoke abound, thresholds shook
His robe filled the temple
Wickedness removed
His glory in all the earth
Holy is the Lord
the Lord of re-birth
Time to go
a witness from sea to sea
whom shall He send
O' Lord...Send me!
who can save?
Then I saw the Lord
seated on His throne
confessed my sins
to Jesus alone
Seraphim flew
coal in his hand
he touched my lips
atonement the plan
No more sacrifice needed
no ram, goat or bull

Is Jesus "Lord" of your life?
So why do you keep calling me 'Lord, Lord!' when you don't do what I say?
~ Luke 6:46 ~
~ Luke 6:46 ~
The Presence of the Teacher
In the military, a school or a home it is not the threat of punishment or the promise of reward that keeps the law, it is the presence of the leader, the teacher and the father. ~ Andrew Murray ~ And so it is with us in our walk with Christ. John 15:4 tells us Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

Prayer, Confession, Repentance, Obedience, Faith, and Worship
I believe there is a remnant of men that are being drawn to the Word of God, to Jesus and to each other. This blog is dedicated to those men while focusing on the six topics mentioned above...Prayer...Confession...Repentance...,Obedience...Faith...and Worship. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 3:13 to "exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin" One of the key words in this verse is 'daily" We will not use carnal methods to attract carnal men, this blog is for encouraging each other to obedince in Christ. period. No games. no jokes, no idle conversation. Use this blog daily to communicate, share testimonies, ask for godly advice & build each other up. Let's build real relationships and real community with real Christ followers.
