Hebrews 13:17
"Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, NOT A BURDEN, for that would be of no benefit to you."
Leaders are placed in our live's to guide us & watch over us.
Failing to receive their guidance is tragic.
Not allowing them to watch over us is foolish.
But the thing that is most damaging is when we speak against our leaders.
When we fail to respect their God-Given Authority.
When we cause others not to submit to their authority.
This is a great error & also a great sin.
Therefore, do not allow Satan to deceive you.
"WE ARE NOT TO SPEAK AGAINST OUR LEADERS!"
God's Word is very clear on this subject!
There is no grey line!
We are either in agreement that God is in total control.
Or we disagree with His decision-making.
"GOD HAS CHOSEN OUR LEADERS!"
"WE WOULD BE WISE TO LET THEM LEAD!"
"BUT EVEN WISER TO FOLLOW THEIR GUIDANCE!"
If God wanted us to be the leader, then He would placed us in that position.
But instead, He has placed another in that position.
We would do well to submit to their God-Given Authority.
The most dangerous thing is this;
"GRIEVING OUR LEADERS CAUSES THEM TO LOSE FOCUS!"
"CONTINUOUSLY GRIEVING THEM CAUSES THEM TO LOSE HEART!"
"A DIS-HEARTENED LEADER IS NOT SEEKING GOD FOR THE DIRECTION OF THE FLOCK, BUT FOR CONSOLATION!"
"THIS CAUSES THE FLOCK TO BE AT A STAND-STILL!"
"STAGNANCY WILL EVENTUALLY CAUSE DIVISION!"
"DIVISION WILL ULTIMATELY BRING DOWN THE HOUSE!"
I want to encourage everyone today;
"DON'T LET THE ENEMY USE YOU AS HIS TOOL OF DESTRUCTION!"
