Don't be Selfish...Share the Good News with Others.

Dedicated today to the Lord. Went for a walk around the mall at lunch time and just walked up to people and said, "Excuse, I have something I want to share with you. Five years ago my life was a total mess, I lost everything and wound up homeless. That's when I completely surrendered my life to Jesus. I don't know if your going through anything or not but if you are, God can handle it and He loves you" then I handed them a track and walked away, except if they started talking, then I stayed and shared more. It was...AWESOME! God is absolutely amazing, He will give you courage to share the Gospel message of Christ, if you simply ask Him.

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor" ~ Luke 4:18-19 ~

Matthew 5:11-12 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." CHRIST WILL ONLY BE GLORIFIED WHEN PEOPLE SEE SOMETHING DONE IN OUR LIVE'S THAT WE SURELY COULD NOT DO BY OUR OWN STRENGTH!!! THEREFORE, DON'T BE AFRAID TO TELL OTHERS ABOUT THE THINGS YOU CAN'T DO & WATCH THEM GLORIFY GOD FOR WHAT HE CAN!!! LETS NOT ROB GOD OF HIS GLORY!!!

JESUS DIED SO THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO SPEND ETERNITY SEPERATED FROM GOD THE FATHER!!! JESUS ROSE SO THAT YOU COULD SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE HERE ON EARTH TELLING OTHERS ABOUT HIS LIFE-CHANGING POWER!!! THEREFORE, GET UP, GET OUT & TELL SOMEONE ABOUT JESUS TODAY!!! TAKE COURAGE, HE WILL GIVE YOU THE RIGHT WORDS!

WITHOUT CHRIST, I CAN'T BREATHE!!! Let's pray that God would fill us with this kind of mentality!!!

Are you Poor or Wealthy?

 Laziness is the subject this week so have you got up off your butt and created time with God? Proverbs 10:4 says's, "Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth." Now apply that statement to Spiritual matters. A definition of diligence is this...Constant in effort to  accomplish what is undertaken; not idle or  negligent. So we could re-write this verse to say...

"Laziness in your prayers and study time make a man spiritully poor, but diligence in time with the Lord brings holiness and spiritual wealth"

1 Timothy 6:12 "Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses." TODAY AS ALL THE STRUGGLES OF LIFE BOMBARD YOU, TRY TO GRACIOUSLY PERSEVERE & IN DOING SO, YOU WILL HAVE GIVEN HOPE TO SOME HOPELESS SOUL, MAYBE EVEN UNAWARE!!! WE NEVER KNOW WHO WE WILL IMPACT!!! Abner taught in discipleship class that the only way to answer the Lord is Yes and Amen.

Today I saw a 15 year boy dragging a broken bicycle near the highway...the Lord told me to stop, give him a ride, and witness to him.

It was Awesome!!! Yes & Amen Lord, Yes & Amen. 

The Lord Commanded...Do Not be Afraid

Although, we are but decorated dust, We have been given access to the thrown room of the entire universe....judgement starts at the house of the LORD, but to those that do not believe, He shall reign and receive the respect due Him!!!  WE MUST SHOW  BELIEF THROUGH WORD AND DEED, inside out!!! For God looks at the heart, regeneration offers authentic praise!!!!

Jeremiah 8:21 "Since my people are crushed, I am crushed; I mourn, and horror grips me." THE SAD THING IS THAT WE FAIL TO MINISTER TO PEOPLE BECAUSE WE FAIL TO SEE THEM AS OUR FAMILY! Are you CRUSHED when you pass by a homeless person? Are you CRUSHED when you see a couple arguing? Are you CRUSHED when you see a young lady selling her body? Or when a family member has taken the wrong path? But I guess the better question is: "ARE YOU MOVED ENOUGH WITH COMPASSION TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?!!!!!!!!!!!" "JESUS VIEWED HURTING PEOPLE AS 'DEAR CHILDREN', WE SHOULD DO THE SAME!!!!!!!!!" "GOD, May the people we view as 'OUTCASTS' become so 'PRECIOUS' in our hearts that we would begin to view them as 'FAMILY'!"

He is Creator

23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. 24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. 25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. 26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Jesus sustains even in the storm and if He calmed the storm, then it is very possible that he created it as well, for His purposes... When we enter the storms of life, let's us not forget the God over the elements who resides within!!!!! Transcendent yet imminent; outside and in creation ...PRAISE HIM

Letting Go & Letting God

...be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic... For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

~ Deuteronomy 31:6 ~



Feeling anxious or nervous about something? Try letting go. Letting go seems to be the exact opposite of what your natural response would be. Most people hang on tighter when anxious but God says's "Trust Me, give me a chance, I will not fail you" It's not easy to let go, that is why God says "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid and do not panic" So for today, one day, put your trust in God. Say to yourself "Self, I am letting go, and letting God" He promises He will NOT fail you, everything will turn out for the very best, God will not abandon you. Trust Him today and leave tomorrow to tomorrow

ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT?

Don’t settle for partial victories just because you are weary, frustrated or feeling helpless. God never stops at half a victory. The moment you feel so tired you can’t take one more step is often the moment He is about to give the greatest victory — when the breakthrough is about to come.

The church is not meant to be composed of masses and crowds who want comfort, pleasure and everything handed to them on a silver platter. The church is meant to be like “Gideon’s 300,” warriors who say, “God, I know this is going to be a fight. I know it is going to be wearisome and will even cause tears to flow but, God, I’m with You in this battle!”

You may feel that you have prayed the last prayer you’re ever going to be able to pray about the need that is pressing you. You are exhausted but you must stay in the fight. Don’t stop praying and don’t give up. Yes, it has been a long day! Nighttime is coming and inside you are saying, “It’s time for me to sleep.”  But instead God says, “No, no, the fight is just starting.”

What has happened to the all-night prayer meetings in churches? What has happened to people waiting on God? What has happened to people who fast and pray for a breakthrough?

The church was called into battle. It was not begun just to have good services and a nice building with lights that go off and on during the music. That’s not why we’re here! We are here to do battle against the gates of hell because we have a promise that hell will not prevail (Matthew 16:18). We do not have a promise that it won’t be strenuous or that all we have to do is whisper and the gates of hell will not prevail. No! There is going to be a battle and Satan is not going to give up easily — but we have a promise.

It’s going to take a battle! Are you ready to fight?

2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." "WITHOUT GOD'S WORD, WE CAN'T DO GOD'S WORK!" "GOD'S SERVANTS MUST CARRY OUT GOD'S WILL!" "THEREFORE LET US STUDY GOD'S WORD & LEARN WHAT HE WOULD HAVE US DO FOR HIS KINGDOM!"

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned.

 Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

James 2:13 Let mercy triumph over Judgement.

Just today a couple was going to come visit my Church but at the last minute they could not do it because of pain, fear, and hurt from previous Churches. I pray we as a body will love people, not judge them. That doesn't mean we accept sinful lifestyles but we accept and love people, and by the Holy Spirit iniquity is purged and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. Condemning and judging people only drives them away from God. Watch this video for some real life examples.

Sola Scriptura (By Scripture Alone)

Sola scriptura is the teaching that the Bible is the only inspired and authoritative word of God, is the only source for Christian doctrine, and is accessible to all.

Sola Fide (By Faith Alone)

Sola fide is the teaching that justification (interpreted as, “being declared right by God”), is received by faith only, without any mixture of or need for good works, though saving faith is always evidenced by good works.

Sola Gratia (By Grace Alone)

Sola gratia is the teaching that salvation comes by God’s grace or “unmerited favor” only — not as something merited by the sinner. This means that salvation is an unearned gift from God for Jesus’ sake.

Solus Christus (Christ Alone)

Solus Christus is the teaching that Christ is the only mediator between God and man, and that there is salvation through no other.

Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God Alone)

Soli Deo gloria is the teaching that all glory is to be due to God alone, since salvation is accomplished solely through His will and action — not only the gift of the all-sufficient atonement of Jesus on the cross but also the gift of faith in that atonement, created in the heart of the believer by the Holy Spirit.

"WE, AS MEN OF GOD, ARE RECOGNIZED BY OUR ACTIONS! THEREFORE LET OUR ACTIONS HAVE DIRECTION!" WE SHOULD ONLY HAVE ONE DIRECTION; 'TOWARD THE CROSS OF CHRIST!!!'

2 Timothy 2:4 "No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer." IF WE ARE SOLDIERS OF CHRIST, OUR MISSION IS TO TELL THE WORLD ABOUT HIS GREAT LOVE! THEREFORE, LET US FOCUS ON OUR MISSION!

Revelation 3:15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!
